In addition to making waves as an up-and-coming reality star on TOWIE, Jodie Wells has landed a cushty new job modelling for Demi Sims' clothing brand, Racing Against Humans.
Jodie - the girlfriend of longest-running TOWIE cast member James Bennewith, AKA Diags - took to Instagram with a slew of snaps from a recent photoshoot for the brand including one with the slogan 'f*ck it I'm young'. Cheeky.
"FIRE," Diags commented alongside a trio of fire emojis. Meanwhile, founder Demi wrote, "So sick", as her younger sister Frankie added heart-eyes emojis.
Racing Against Humans is abbreviated to RAH and was incorporated (according to Companies House) in November 2021. A year after launching her business, Demi quit TOWIE to pursue a reality TV career in America with her siblings, starring on a show called House of Sims.
But, before Demi traded the cobbles of Brentwood High Street for wall-to-wall sunshine in Los Angeles, devout and long-standing TOWIE fans may recall that she was once embroiled in a love triangle with none other than her new RAH recruit's boyfriend. Yep, Demi did indeed have a romantic tie to Diags once upon a time.
In series 28, Demi confided in Frankie and Saffron Lempriere that she was torn between pursuing something with Diags or Roman Hackett.
"I never in my life thought that Diags and Roman would be fighting over me. Obviously you know I had a kiss with Diags before..."
"No one knows this," Saffron interjected, to which Demi was stunned, assuming that "everyone in Essex knew". It was then confirmed that said kiss happened a year and a half prior (which we traced back to March 2020).
Referring to Diags and Roman, Demi continued, "I'm just going to see what they pull out of the bag."
While nothing serious progressed with either Roman or Diags, the latter did explain in an interview that he and Demi had grown up together. "We'll always be close - like best friends," he said.
Considering Jodie's recent career update, we can assume that her beau's cheeky kiss with Demi four years ago has not impacted their friendship - or one blossoming between the two girls.
