We have to give it to the TOWIE lot, they do keep us on our toes. Just when we think we’ve got a relationship and / or storyline all figured out, they throw a monumental curveball at us out of nowhere and we’re back to square one.
Take the relationship between TOWIE boyfs Harry Derbidge and Joe Blackman; while it started off a fairy tale, it’s safe to say a few cracks started to show in series 33.
It began when Harry's frenemy, Ella Rae Wise, revealed that Joe had been confiding in her about needing some space from him ahead of the cast trip to Bali; it then blew up when Dani Imbert and Saffron Lempriere made that common knowledge.
Fast forward – bearing in mind that the Bali scenes were filmed months ago – and duck for cover, because here's yet another curveball. The boys are apparently looking at wedding rings.
Yep, apparently Harry and Joe are at the wedding ring shopping stage in their relationship because according to Harry's Instagram story, he's found 'the one'.
Harry shared a video taken inside Louis Vuitton in London with Joe. The video showed two dazzling LVT rings with the caption, "This is the one joeblackman_98 💍😂👰🏼."
Ah, we're guessing the use of a '😂' means he's not being entirely serious. Although, don't forget that Harry has chatted (exclusively, natch) to Closer about his and Joe's wedding plans.
"We will just run away to Vegas. We will see Elvis Presley and do it," the TOWIE OG told us.
He went on, “We want to have kids one day. Where he has got a boy already, he always says to me, ‘If we have a baby, Harry, and we do surrogate, I will let you be the sperm donor so it is biologically yours. I’ve had mine already’. When he says things like that, I know he’s the right person for me.”
Harry and Joe started dating last summer and Joe has guest starred on TOWIE since the boys began their love story.
