While TOWIE star Ella Rae Wise has been cosying up to 'boyfriend' Dan Edgar on one ITV channel, she's been living her best single life in the Celebrity Big Brother house with the likes of Love Island's Chris Hughes and CBBC legend Angellica Bell on another.
And that's how you slay the airtime assignment, people.
The ITVBe show is filmed two or three months in advance, so they're still together on the TOWIE timeline, but in reality, Ella and Dan split just ahead of her CBB stint earlier this month and she made the brave decision to enter the house freshly single (and we all know how well that worked out for Ekin-Su).
Although Ella was evicted as part of 'Triple Tuesday' ahead of the final, all in all, she's come out of the Celebrity Big Brother house rather unscathed and one person that's had her back for the duration is her TOWIE bestie Freddie Bentley, who has literally not gone a day without rallying the troops around Ella on social media. Basically, we all need a friend like Freddie.
Upon her eviction, Freddie shared a stunning snap of him and Ella on his Instagram grid, singing her praises with the caption, 'MY ELLA RAE WISE❤️ I can’t even put in to words how proud I am of you. You are our Essex queen and to go in to that house and be your true authentic yourself is a true credit to you as a person 😘 felt lost without you for these last 3 weeks but I am so grateful and proud to call you my best friend. This is your time now girl, grab it with both hands💘💘.'
Wholesome, right? Don't worry, they're still TOWIE stars - it's about to get shady.
Ella responded to the post, sharing an outpouring of love in Freddie's direction and a copious amount of shade in well, the direction of everyone else on TOWIE.
Ella commented, 'Love you with all my heart and won’t ever leave you again for that long ❤️ thank you for supporting me EVERY night. . . Unlike some 🫣❤️.'
Not the capitalisation of 'EVERY' and the 'unlike some' jibe combo.
While Ella didn't name names, it's safe to say she might be directing this poke in the direction of some of her TOWIE co-stars. Let's be honest, Dan, most likely.
As of right now, the only other TOWIE stars Ella's rocky with are Junaid Ahmed, Joe Blackman and Queen B Amber Turner. To be honest, these ITV timelines are confusing us.
A few hours after her eviction and exit interview, Ella took to her own Instagram grid to share a message of thanks with her followers, writing, 'Your Essex girl is out of the Celebrity Big Brother House! What an remarkable experience, it was an absolute blinder but testing at times & very overwhelming if you couldn’t tell by the tears! 🫤🤣 One thing I will say is at the age of 24 I’m so proud of who I am & who I am becoming!💋🫶🏽👑.
