Next year is a milestone year for the ballgown-donning belles of The Real Housewives of Cheshire, with 2025 marking ten years of the popular ITVBe series.

Yep, the likes of Dawn Ward, Tanya Bardsley and Lauren Simon first sauntered on to our screens way back in 2015, which FYI, was the same year that Adele released her 25 album. Oh, and the same year Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner split. Busy ten years for Ben.

Anyway, here at Closer HQ we've been keeping up with the ladies of Cheshire far more intensely than any singular Kardashian (in honesty, we just never really cared that much), and knowing the ITVBe show the way we do, we just know the cast and crew have something big brewing for the ten-year anniversary season.

After all, show producers have spent the last two years bringing back iconic OG Housewives like Tanya, Ester Dee and Ampika Pickston, so we can only imagine what/who they've got waiting in the wings to mark next year's milestone.

Naturally, when we ran into OGs Lauren and Tanya at The National Television Awards last night (Wednesday 11 September), we had to take the opportunity to see what the ladies know.

Tanya replied, 'We are due to start filming in January. It's going to be series 18 and we're going to be celebrating the 10 year anniversary as well.'

To which Lauren added, 'So, everything is happening. We are hopefully going on holiday, we're going to party. You might see some old faces, you're definitely going to see some new faces.'

'That’s just us with the botox and filler', Tanya added. Queen.

So hold on a sec; is that confirmation of another lavish girls' trip, the return of yet more former Housewives, and some new additions to the cast, too?

When asked which Housewives they would love to see return to the franchise, Tanya replied, 'Leanne Brown for me. Yeah, I miss Leanne, while Lauren said, 'I might bring Dawn Ward back, just because she’s great telly. I love Wardy.

'And actually, if you look on my Instagram, the last time I was here [at the NTAs], it was me, Tan and Dawn. There are a few old photos, unrecognisable faces.'

No, our bodies and souls are ready for this.

This isn't the first time Tanya has spoken to Closer about the hotly-anticipated ten-year anniversary season. Closer actually sat down with the iconic Housewife to discuss the new season just last month, and while it was clear that Tanya wasn't allowed to spill all the tea on what ITVBe have planned for fans, she did reveal that the team are working on sending the ladies on a trip to celebrate the milestone later this year as part of a new special (à la Christmas Cruising and Pride).

She exclusively told Closer online, 'We start filming this year, like a little special for the ten-year anniversary.'

Tanya continued, '[Producers] are being very hush hush at the moment. We actually don’t know [where we're going or what we're doing], we’ve just been told to some dates to keep free. I know they were looking at a long-haul trip, but it’s all changeable.

'There’s a lot of planning that has to go into it, because we went to Mexico filming two years ago and we ended up in a hurricane, so it all depends on weather… yeah, there’s a lot of planning for the team, bless them. We’re the last to know once everything’s sorted out.'
