We're not going to lie, we've been a bit worried about Seema Malhotra as of late. Having joined The Real Housewives of Cheshire in 2016 (after guest starring in series one), she's officially part of the furniture at this point, so we became a tad concerned when we clocked that she wasn't filming scenes for the upcoming Manchester Pride special last month.
Seema missing a RHOCheshire series/special? She must have a spectacular excuse.
As it turns out, she does – she's been working behind the scenes with model/Strictly Come Dancing winner Abbey Clancy on a brand new interior design series for ITVBe.
We know. Iconic.
The Forever Unique boss took to Instagram to share the exciting news with a stunning snap of her and Abbey.
She teased, "Coming soon! I am so excited to be working with the gorgeous @abbeyclancy on this great new series for ITVBe."
Seema also shared a Reel of her and Abbey just generally being fabulous around an aesthetically-pleasing mansion (which we think belongs to Seema). She captioned the Reel, "Thrilled to be teaming up with the fabulous @abbeyclancy for an exciting new interior show on ITVBe! Stay tuned, it’s going to be amazing!"
As long as this doesn't mean you're leaving RHOCheshire, Seema, then we're fully in your corner and can't bloomin' wait to see what you and Abbey have planned. But that condition is a requisite – we/Cheshire can't lose you.
It seems that plenty of Seema's castmates are fully behind the new series, too, with numerous Cheshire queens taking to the comments to congratulate Seema on her new series.
Natasha Hamilton wrote, "Amazing! ❤️", while Rachel Lugo, Nicole Sealey and Paige Chohan all commented with a plethora of red heart emojis.
Let's just hope this goes smoother than the last time Seema teamed up with an iconic reality star (*cough cough* Paige Thorne *cough cough*) for a glam collab.
For context, in 2022, it was all Champagne and smiles when Paige announced she would be working with Seema's brand Forever Unique. Sharing a photo of them together (which has now been deleted) she captioned the post, “IT’S OFFICIAL… @paigethornex X @foreveruniqueofficial 😭🤯!
“So excited to announce my first ever collection with a brand I’ve loved for so long! My party wear collection is everything and more and I’m so excited for you all to see it! Feeling so overwhelmed and grateful, hope you all love it as much as I do! Bring on party season! ✨✨✨."
But things soon turned sour behind-the-scenes and the collaboration never transpired.
In early 2023, Paige referred to the fall out as "the darkest time in her life."
The Love Island star revealed that she was allegedly "owed money" and was suing Forever Unique for breach of contract.
Tbh, even we gave up trying to work out what went down there, but we're manifesting good vibes for Seema's latest collab with Queen of Strictly, Abbey Clancy.
