With The Real Housewives of Cheshire's Pride Special FINALLY on the horizon (it's coming to ITVBe Monday 8 and Tuesday 9 January 2024, despite it being filmed, well, during Manchester Pride months ago) and as such, we've been keeping a closer eye on our Housewives in the final days of 2023 to see if they spill any saucy series tea on their Instagrams in the lead-up.
Unfortunately, as things stand, they're all being quite uncharacteristically well behaved (even Rachel Lugo). Boo. In fact, all we know for certain about the special is what the official RHOCheshire Instagram account teased earlier this week, and that's, "The two-part Pride Special shows our gorgeous group of ladies experiencing different aspects of queer culture and Pride itself and with some familiar faces joining the group, old feuds are reignited."
And as thousands of fans saw them riding their very own float at Manchester Pride in the summer, we know that those familiar faces are Tanya Bardsley, Ester Dee and Ampika Pickston. Still, who's feuding remains to be seen.
The ladies might be keeping their show secrets under wraps for now, but one thing series OG Lauren Simon is certainly showing off on Instagram is her new "copper" hair.
We love a hair transformation story – especially when the celebs can afford to pay as much as our Cheshire Housewives can – but when we first noticed this story, we did have a small panic that Lauren had decided to completely ditch her signature red hair.
She hasn't, thank goodness – Lauren Simon without red locks is like Christmas without a tree or summer without sunshine. It just wouldn't feel right. Saying that, although Lauren's remained in the same hair colour family, she has given her lewk a festive glow-up – "Ariel hair for Christmas" in her words – and we're here for it.
Lauren shared the full transformation from "red to copper" in a video on her Instagram grid and we have to say when we first saw the wavy, luscious final product we clutched our invisible pearls (just think, if we were Housewives, we'd be clutching our real pearls – imagine). Lauren, you look beautiful.
