Real Housewives of Cheshire fans won't need us to remind them that the upcoming series is somewhat of a milestone one, as 2025 marks ten years since the iconic realty series first launched in 2015.
Sorry, can we all just sit with that one for a minute? That's the same year Snapchat introduced filters (the dog one was all the rage), everyone had a selfie stick and Mark Ronson's Uptown Funk ft. Bruno Mars was the biggest song of the year. Be right back, need to whack the LED mask on.

Anyway, series 18 of The Real Housewives of Cheshire launches on ITV in just a few days time (Monday 3 March at 9pm) and ahead of the no doubt legendary series, ITV bosses have teased what's to come and consider our appetites WHETTED.
In a message to UK media, show bosses promised a milestone series of 'all stars', 'fan favourites' and 'iconic Housewives'.

They said, 'The Real Housewives of Cheshire celebrates a decade on screen with an explosive return for Series 18. Returning housewives Ell Egar, Lauren Simon, Lystra Adams, Paige Chohan, Rachel Lugo, Seema Malhotra and Sheena Lynch are set to be joined by some of the most iconic housewives from over the past ten years.'
As exciting as this confirmation is, this isn't exactly news to the team at Closer online. In fact, all the way back in September 2024, Lauren and Tanya exclusively told us at The NTAs that the cast are 'going to party' this series, adding, 'you might see some old faces, you're definitely going to see some new faces.'

And we know for a fact that one of those faces is series one OG, Leanne Brown; while Leanne's involvement hasn't been officially announced yet, Lauren shared a behind-the-scenes snap of the OG partying with the cast at a swanky event several weeks back (and then swiftly deleted it).

Speaking of the drama rattling the show this series, bosses revealed, 'In a bid to heal the cavernous divide in their friendships, the group head to an incredible five-star retreat on the island of Koh Samui. But it’s not only the tropical weather turning up the heat, as drama erupts and threatens to send the Housewives back to Cheshire with even more baggage.'
They added, 'Back in Cheshire, Rachel does some soul searching while preparing for her landmark 50th birthday. Lauren looks to the stars for inspiration in order to help her feuding friends. Seema is forced to question the validity of a close relationship when her character is called into question. Sheena finds herself facing her biggest fears. Newly single Lystra vows to channel a burning passion into a new business opportunity, Ell reveals her engagement and baby news, and Paige prepares to celebrate her daughter’s first birthday.'
