Sorry, but who doesn't have a soft spot for Love Island legend Wes Nelson? Ever since he first popped up on our screens on Love Island 2018, we've been team Wes; even though he found himself caught up in one of the show's most notorious love triangles which broke the heart of Laura Anderson when bombshell Megan Barton-Hanson sauntered into the villa.

We soon forgave him, then couldn't get enough of him and, six years later, the love is still real and perhaps a little unhealthy.

Just look at that face, how could we not forgive him?

Not us suddenly realising that we might have an issue with hot red flags.

To be fair, Wes was only 20 years old when he signed up to Love Island, and he has done a whole lot of growing up since then; going on to launch a hugely successful music career, one which saw him return to the Love Island: All Stars villa in early 2024 to perform for the Islanders alongside his pal Craig David - in front of yet another of his blonde Love Island exes, Arabella Chi.

He's had a few eras and undergone a few rebrands and transformations over his years in the spotlight, and we've been there for each and every one of them; but we have to say, we've never seen a Wes Nelson transformation like this one...

The singer is set to kick off his UK and Ireland tour next week, and ahead of the first leg of his tour in London, Wes took to Instagram to showcase his 'tour transformation' following some serious gym effort.

Posting a before and after progress picture – from 'cuddly' to 'champ' according to two of his followers – Wes told his 1.4m followers, 'Transformation for my Tour 🙏🏾 (and for myself). I’ve been quietly working on myself for a while now, I neglected my health for years, it’s affected me physically and mentally! For the first time in years I can honestly say, I feel fvcking great! 😅 Tour starts in 9 days. Let's go! ❤️.'

If you ask us, Wes looks hot AF before and after (seriously, give us 'cuddly' and 'champ' in equal measure), but if muscles are your thing, then Wes has definitely gained a few of those over the last few months and you should probably take a good look at the the pic in question.

But more importantly, our Wes is feeling himself more than ever – physically and mentally – and that we can certainly get behind.

Naturally, many of his celeb pals flooded the comments section to share their thoughts on Wes's epic transformation, with Made in Chelsea's Miles Nazaire writing, 'Smashed it bro!', and Wes's Love Island 2018 co-star Josh Denzel commenting, 'Top top top work bro! Proud of the hustle.'

Now...

If you ask us, a Love Island body transformation in November is also giving Love Island: All Stars contract, but we'll shelve that theory for now while we try and get press tickets to Wes's tour...

After entering the villa on day one, Wes made it all the way to the final, finishing in fourth place alongside Megan.

Since then, he has appeared on countless other TV shows including Dancing on Ice, The X Factor: Celebrity, Celebrity SAS and is now a bona fide music star and businessman.
