In the moment they're awesome, but in the long-run they become ICONIC. Some Love Island philosophy for you right there.
Another one of these iconic historical moments involves two Love Island legends in their own right: Josh Denzel and Georgia Steel. Before Georgia returned to the villa for Love Island All Stars, she is best remembered as a victim of the dreaded Casa Amor curse.
Josh was a contestant on the 2018 series of Love Island. He entered the villa on day eight as one of the first bombshells of the series before leaving the show in third place alongside Kaz Crossley. During that time, Josh infamously returned from Casa Amor hand-in-hand with new-girl Kaz, leaving Georgia HEARTBROKEN – arguably some of the biggest Casa Amor #dramz of all time. See? Just seems way more iconic than 2023's Olivia Hawkins and Zara Lackenby-Brown passive-aggresively squabbling over Tom Clare.

Josh's star has done nothing but soar since leaving the 2018 villa; in fact, he's gone on to become one of the UK's most popular sports presenters, travelling the world for the likes of Sky Sports, BBC Sports, JD Sports, Amazon Prime Video Sport, the England football team (he presented Lions Den as part of the FA's EURO 2020 coverage), LAD Bible and SPORT Bible.

Rumours that the pair had split first started to circulate in December 2018, when Josh was a no-show at the Christmas reunion (remember those?). However, Kaz swiftly put these to bed when she claimed it was due to work commitments.
Things went further south in 2019, and Josh and Kaz confirmed their split in February.
At the time, Kaz wrote on social media, "Sometimes things don’t go the way you planned, but you have to be grateful for the journey. Thank you for everything especially showing me how to love myself again ❤️."

Josh went public with model girlfriend Ruby Wong in August 2020 and as far as we can tell, the pair have been living the dream ever since.
