If there's one person who knows all those juicy Love Island secrets us journalists are constantly sniffing around for like blood hounds it's Love Island 2023 legend Scott van-der-Sluis. After all, even Kady McDermott and Adam Collard can't boast being on three Love Islands series in the space of a year.
Actually, Liberty Poole has done that now she's done All Stars, but this is about Scott, not Lib – after all, he's the one that's been spilling seriously spicy show tea.
We'll be honest, when we were heard that Scott was going on Frankie and Demi Sims' Sims Squared podcast for a 20-minute mini episode we ducked out of our morning editorial meeting to give it a listen, and it's lucky we did, as he started spilling cup fulls of piping hot tea within seconds.
SECONDS WE SAY.
The biggie spillage being that Love Island producers asked him to "act" in the villa, which is pretty major considering we're talking about one of the world's most famous reality shows all about forming real relationships.
Oh, and before anyone from ITV comes for us or Scott, he was talking about his stint on Love Island USA. Remember that? What a time.
The Welsh bombshell had just left the Love Island 2023 villa and the whole world wanted a piece of him; so much so that he was immediately invited to take part in Love Island USA and Love Island Games that summer.
When asked why he didn't manage to find love on three separate series of Love Island last summer by the Sims sisters, Scott revealed that the American spin-off and the Games were "just jobs" and that he was told by producers to "act" and "bring the drama" for one of the shows.
Scott revealed "The second two [Love Island series] I didn't want to find love. I wanted to come out single for the other two. It just literally felt like I was doing a job, just walking in..."
Tea.
"The American one, I came in in the last week and I had to act in the American one...just like people in your ear. They brought me over for a reason, I've got to bring something."
To which the hosts added, "Bring the drama," to which Scott agreed.
TEA.
Scott added, "I don't think I brought that much, to be honest, but I brought what I had left in me. I was done at that point."
That's a lot of tea to mop up. But kudos for saying that, Scott. For spilling.
