And one of the most recent Casa storylines was during series 10 when Ella Thomas came face to face with Ouzy See - who she knew from the outside world.
Fast forward to 2024 and while Ella and Tyrique Hyde appear to be in an on/off relationship, we thought we'd take a look at Ouzy and what he's been doing since all the drama with Kady McDermott.
How did Ouzy See and Ella Thomas know each other before?
One of the biggest storylines of Love Island 2023 was Ella reuniting with her crush from the outside world/her hometown in the form of 6ft4 mega-hunk, Ouzy. You know, after she finally got playboy Ty to close off their relationship.
Ouzy and Ella revealed that they met on a modelling shoot in Edinburgh before the show, with Ella adding that she was waiting for Ouzy to ask her out for a drink.
The Islanders hit it off during Casa and headed back into the villa together and while Ty was obviously upset, it quickly became clear that Ella seemingly regretted her decision too. It was all very awks and before long Ella and Ty reunited, leaving poor Ouzy single.
What happened with Ouzy See and Kady McDermott?
Well, after finding themselves both single after Casa, Ouzy and Kady recoupled and all seemed great.
Even after Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki voted for them to leave over newly formed couple Mitch Taylor and Ella Barnes, they still seemed totally loved up.
It all took a turn though when Kady slammed claims she had a secret boyfriend before going on to reveal that she had split from Ouzy. Sharing a statement on Instagram she wrote, "Sadly last night Ouzy's behaviour and actions from 30th July were bought to my attention.
"Ouzy is one of the loveliest people I have met and I know he is remorseful but unfortunately actions have consequences and although we are not 'official' in our relationship status, I am definitely not prepared to start a relationship off on this foot."
