There is something we respect about Love Island contestants who have some level of self-awareness because let's be honest the two don't tend to go hand in hand.

For example, if you return to the dating show either as a bombshell - we're looking at you Adam Collard - or decide to take part in the All Stars spin-off, you're going to end up with a bit of a name for yourself.

In fact, in the most recent series of All Stars, the Islanders had to pick which couple they thought were in it 'for the clout'.

Unsurprisingly Casey O'Gorman was strong contender for the title because he has spent the past THREE Januarys in the South African villa taking part in winter Love Island, All Stars season one and All Stars season two.

Also, unsurprisingly Casey wasn't exactly thrilled with the accusation but to be fair he also went on to win the romance reality TV show alongside Gabby Allen so it's not all bad.

However, chatting on their podcast, Millie Court and Liam Reardon, who won season seven of the show, had some choice words for Casey.

'Casey, you know, I like you, I think you're wicked,' Liam began, 'but you've been on Love Island three times, you've been on Made in Chelsea. If you're saying you're not in it for clout, come on.'

The likes of Casey and Tina Stinnes have appeared on Made in Chelsea with many other former Islanders going on to take part in TOWIE, Dancing on Ice and Celebs Go Dating.

'They're all getting their backs up like, "Oh, I'm not clout chasing," well, you are in a way aren't you?' Liam went on, 'Every single person is there for clout. Why would you want to go on TV otherwise?'

Millie then went on to say what we were all thinking.

'Yeah, you were looking for clout the first time you went on it when you were a nobody, we all were,' she admitted. 'Like, we know we're going on one of the biggest shows on telly.'

Remember when Love Island was about finding The One and not about landing a fashion deal and attending as many red carpet events as possible? Simpler times.

'Yeah, it is a bit cringe but we all are, let's say,' she finished.
