The reality telly world is much smaller than you might think. We're reminded of this time and time again when we're out living our best Carrie Bradshaw lives at celeb events where our fave reality stars are constantly speaking to each other and never to us. Sigh.
These small world vibes have become even more apparent thanks to the introduction of Love Island: All Stars to our telly schedules. The former Islanders clearly all know each other VERY well and are seem to be keeping a few IRL dalliances and altercations close to their chests to avoid all their dirty laundry from being aired on ITV2.
As such, our jaws only very rarely drop over reality stars collabing with one another these days, but we have to say, this fresh collab, had us triple taking our Instagram feeds. Not only did we have zero clue that said Love Island 2022 star and said pop star/Celebs Go Dating client have been working together, but never in our wildest showbiz dreams did we imagine these two knew each other – even in the small, boujie, shoulder-rubbing world they both frequent. Just trying to imagine these two casually chinwagging is a struggle for us, to be honest – and we can't even tell you why. It's just so random.
We're talking about Love Island 2022's Billy Brown and Celebs Go Dating's Tallia Storm.
A little recap in case you're going, 'Who?' No shade...
Roofer and footballer Billy Brown found fame as a Casa Amor bombshell on Love Island 2022, catching the eye of Gemma Owen for a microsecond and getting on the wrong side of Danica Taylor. Tallia is a Scottish singer and influencer who has also starred on reality shows Celebs Go Dating and, erm, All Star Driving School.
So imagine our surprise when Tallia's latest music video pops up on our feed and who is in it? Billy.
For some reason, the Love Island star is playing Tallia's fictional ex boyfriend who has replaced her with another stunning blonde (who for a second we thought was Jess Harding, which would have only added to this confusion).
In the credits for Tallia's video for her new song, Used Girl, Billy is credited as 'lead male' and, honestly, we are just so confused.
How do these two know each other? How did Billy end up in Tallia's music video? Since when can Billy act?
Sorry, we don't have the answers to those, we just thought you should know that apparently anything is possible in this wacky reality telly world of ours.
