Love Island day one fans trace your mind way back to season four when our screens were graced with some incredible Islanders such as Dani Dyer, Wes Nelson and blink-and-you'll-miss-her Zara McDermott - who's actually mega famous now despite her 10 day villa stint.
We also had the iconic Megan Barton Hanson being the bombshell of all bombshells, Adam Collard was absolutely savage and we were introduced to Georgia 'loyal' Steel.
It was quite the season to be honest but one of the best moments was the arrival of Alexandra Cane who arrived and swept Dr Alex George off his feet - and we can't blame her, who doesn’t love a man in uniform?
However the biggest bombshell of all was last year when she deleted her entire instagram feed, despite having millions of followers.
So we thought we'd have a deep dive into Alexandra and what on earth she's doing now...
Who is Alexandra Cane?
Alex was a Love Island contestant from the 2018 series. However before the show she was a make-up artist and model and just before she entered the villa it came to light that she already knew Megan.
What happened when Alexandra Cane was on Love Island?
Before joining the villa midway through - on day 38 - she had her eyes set on Josh Denzel, but ended up coupling with Dr Alex for two weeks in a row.
Things took a turn when the entire nation backed Alex after she was mugged off by Dr Alex, who told her ‘he wasn’t feeling it anymore’, despite her being the only girl in there to give him attention.
An iconic moment from the entire season was Alexandra's mum coming in during the family episode and ripping him to shreds, saying “I don’t know what show you thought you were on”.
Fair comment to be honest.
When was Alexandra Cane dumped from the villa?
She left the villa on day 57 with Dr Alex, after receiving the least votes from the public. Bet that was a silent taxi ride.
What is Alexandra Cane doing now?
In 2021 Alex announced she was becoming a body and trauma healing coach, on Instagram she said, "So I'm currently working towards becoming a natural body healing coach & trauma informed healer."
She continued, "I'm so excited for this new venture having experienced my own healing journey and soon to be able to hold space for others to become their best version of themselves."
"I really look forward to working with many of you in the future."
Fast forward to January 2023 and Alex deleted all her Instagram posts and since then she's not posted in over a year.
