Following rumours that Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford have been axed from This Morning, Rochelle Humes appears to have supported the duo.
Earlier this week there were reports that suggested Eamonn and Ruth would no longer be hosting the daytime TV show on Fridays but would continue to step in during Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield's summer break.
Instead, Friday's show would be hosted by Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary who presented the show together last month.
"It’s time for a change and they [Alison and Dermot] are perfect," a source told the Mirror.
"Eamonn is pretty furious and everyone feels for him and Ruth, they are well liked on the team, but sometimes tough decisions have to be made."
But following the news, ITV bosses spoke out and released a statement which appeared to dismiss the rumours.
"We have a stellar presenting line up on This Morning in Holly and Phillip and Eamonn and Ruth.
"Any additions to this line up will be announced in due course," they toldMetro.
Despite their statement it appears that the rumours haven't died down and Eamonn has seemingly added fuel to the fire with his latest Instagram photo.

He shared a photo of himself and Rochelle Humes at This Morning's studios and wrote, "Just got sent this by my lovely friend Rochelle.
"That's when a picture is worth a thousand words. 👍🙏".
Hmm. The plot thickens.
Lots of his celebrity friends rushed to support him including Davina McCall who wrote, "Hey you! Huge love ❤️".
Tess Daly commented, "We would all cuddle you if we had the chance! 😍😍".
TOWIE's Georgia Kousoulou added, "We love you ❤️".

The news comes a year after Amanda Holden shed light on her feud with Phil following allegations that she was originally meant to host This Morning alongside him while Holly filmed I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!.
At the time sources told The Sun that "the decision had been heavily influenced by Phil" and instead of Amanda hosting the show, Rochelle would be covering while Holly was away.
Phil then spoke out on Twitter and hit back at the reports and then claims surfaced that Amanda had a 'lifetime ban' from appearing on This Morning.
Later, there were allegations that Ruth filed an official complaint against Phil at ITV after he cut her off mid-link, but after he came out as gay in February it appeared that all the feud and drama rumours died down.
But last month it appeared that Phil reignited his 'feud' with Eamonn with a subtle dig in his new memoir.
