The feud with Phillip is getting seriously heated
These are two people whose whole careers rely on a family friendly, likeable rep – so you know things are bad when they’re trading insults publicly.
Last week, reports resurfaced that Phillip Schofield had apparently blocked Amanda Holden from covering for Holly Willoughby on This Morning.
Now, stepping their feud up a gear, insiders say Phil has issued a lifetime sofa ban for his arch nemesis.
“Phillip is absolutely furious that all this nastiness is being talked about, and he’s blaming Amanda for everything,” an insider tells heat.
“If their relationship was frosty before, it’s absolutely Baltic now. He’s told the This Morning producers that Amanda’s banned from appearing ever again. It’s created a real headache, as she’s part of the ITV family.”

In November, it was claimed Britain’s Got Talent judge Amanda had been promised the job while Holly worked on I’m A Celeb, especially as she had covered Holly’s maternity.
But Rochelle Humes got the gig instead– reportedly at Phil’s insistence.
Amanda then reignited the argument on her radio show, saying that the three things she wouldn’t want in her house were “flies, spiders and Philip Schofield”.
And, last week, it was reported that she had complained to a top ITV boss about the presenter.
Phil then tweeted, “When you try for 35 years to be the easiest, most fun person to work with and you read such hurtful and wildly untrue stories… Obviously I’ll take it on the chin. I just hope you know me better.”

Amanda, 48, hit back on her radio show again, telling her co-host Jamie Theakston that Phil had ignored an olive branch, saying, “I did offer to meet him for a coffee…he didn’t reply to my text.”
It came at a tough time for Phil, as the week before, it had been claimed there was tension between him and “bestie” Holly, after a joint interview focused on Holly too much and claimed she had eclipsed him to become “Britain’s hottest TV star”.
And it’s been reported that he himself had wanted the jungle job.
Our insider adds, “Phil’s been going ballistic about it all coming to light now, so Amanda gets the blame, plus a sofa ban.”
A spokesperson for ITV denied that Amanda was under a lifetime ban from This Morning when approached by Closer.
