Series 15's Katie Alex is certainly one of those fleeting Housewives (actually, to be fair, she popped up as a guest again in series 16).

In her first series, Katie caused quite the stir thanks to her awkward on-screen feud (well, more drama, really) with RHOCheshire staple Lauren. Within her first few episodes, Katie had already been called the C word, hosted a dinner party from hell, brought in her own reinforcements in the form of bestie/doppelgänger Ashley Stobart and somewhat split the group down the middle over something that happened decades ago (she married Lauren's first love from decades ago).
In case you've been living under a rock, here's the speediest of speedy recaps: Katie is married to Mason who was Lauren's first love. Although Katie seemed unfazed by the association, the rest of the gang had THOUGHTS, with the likes of Nicole Sealey jumping to Lauren's emotional aide – whether she needed/wanted it or not.
Tensions began brewing in the first few episodes, so, of course, Katie held a dinner party and invited all the girls because that plan always go well on this show.
The evening ended with Lauren walking out and calling Katie a choice four-letter word that even ITVBe had to bleep out.

Have Katie Alex and Lauren Simon made up?
Despite coming across as mature and guarded on the show (she was the youngest of the Housewives prior to Ellie joining this series, btw), Katie took to Instagram to spill some tea on the situation as her series was airing. In a late-night Instagram Q&A last year, fans were quick to check in on Katie to see how she has been coping with the pressures of the show and the alleged "bullying" some fans believe she has been subject to.
Speaking of that now infamous dinner party, one fan asked flat out, "Have you made up with Lauren?"
To which Katie responded jokingly, "Has Lauren made up with me... 😂," suggesting (at the time) that either Lauren was yet to apologise or Katie was unsure of how things were between the pair weeks after filming the tense scenes.
Another fan asked, "How did you continue after the dinner party 😳."
Katie revealed that the whole ordeal left her in tears, replying, "Errrrrm I literally cried all night 🙈. It's ok I've manned up a bit now 😂."
A third fan then asked flat outright how she felt about "being bullied" on the show, "How do you feel about being bullied?! I couldn't go back 🥺 you're so strong."
To which Katie responded, "It was a tough situation, so much to it but things got blown out of proportion. I'm not one for arguing and I hate confrontation but sometimes you have to stand up for yourself."
Katie also added that things have apparently improved between her and Lauren since that night, "It's all good now ❤️."

During an exclusive interview with Closer online in 2022, Katie gave us some insight as to which of the Housewives she actually gets along with. When asked which of her new cast-mates she clicked with the most, she said, "Ahh man that's a toughie, @lystraadams and @sheenalynchofficial have been very supportive and I really get on with @hannamiraftab. That's no disrespect to the other ladies, I'm still getting to know them all if I'm honest ❤️." Shade by omission, we love it.
