We were super excited last summer when it was announced that three newbies were joining the cast of TOWIE; Absolutely Ascot star Mia Sully and her two best friends Hannah Voyan and Pia Smith, but it's fair to say that their time on the show was a bit of a damp squib.
Not only was Pia cut from the show for "breaching her contract" before her first scenes even aired after allegedly vaping on the plane home from filming in the Dominican Republic, but Mia and Hannah were also axed after just one series after failing to make an impact.
Hannah also hit headlines last year when she was romantically linked to "dangerous" criminal Kirk Holdrick, who reportedly went on the run from police following an altercation with Hannah's ex-boyfriend. However, it's clear that Hannah wants to put all of the drama behind her as she's shared a cryptic post about "moving forward".
Following claims that producers decided to "cut their losses" and didn't invite Hannah and Mia back to appear on the show this year, Hannah took to her Instagram story to share a quote which read, "Keep moving forward and you'll never have a reason to look back."
Could she be referring to the brutal TOWIE cull? Or perhaps her romance with Kirk? Either way, we're pleased Hannah's keeping her head held high.
Last month, a TV insider revealed, "Producers had high hopes for Mia and Hannah when they signed them and hoped they would shake up the show, but ultimately, they didn't feel they were the right fit in the end and viewers didn't connect with them either."
The source told The Sun, "It happens quite a lot with TOWIE where newcomers come in and it just doesn't work out. Bosses decided to cut their losses and start fresh next series."
Closer online previously contacted Hannah and TOWIE representatives for comment but did not receive a response.
Hannah and Mia joined TOWIE halfway through series 30 but didn't feature in any major storylines apart from Hannah's over-before-it-really-started romance with Liam 'Gatsby' Blackwell.
It was later claimed that Hannah had secretly had an off-screen boyfriend for over a year when she was spotted holding hands with convicted criminal Kirk Holdrick outside London restaurant Sexy Fish in September.
According to reports, her 'boyfriend' went on the run from police in November following an alleged altercation with Hannah’s ex. Kirk has a criminal past after attempting to rob a Securicor vehicle at gunpoint with an accomplice in May 2004. The same year, while on remand, he scaled a 30ft wall and climbed through razor wire to escape Pentonville prison. He was caught four weeks later while driving a stolen car and in possession of a firearm.
The 40-year-old has been described as a “dangerous and determined criminal” by police, who have urged the public not to approach him if they spot him. He’s currently thought to be on the run once again after breaching the terms of his licence following an alleged altercation with one of Hannah’s ex-boyfriends.
A source told MailOnline, “Hannah is upset and confused right now.
“It's a worrying time for everybody concerned and she is not getting any answers."
Why were Hannah Voyan's early scenes cut from TOWIE?
Remember all THAT sky-high #dramz following filming in then Dominican Republic (described as "lunatic behaviour" by a telly insider)? Well, that's why.
Unfortunately, poor Hannah and Mia got caught in the crossfire, delaying their rise to reality stardom as the show had to be re-edited following Pia's axe - culling her and all her scenes, many of which featured Hannah and Mia, from the show.

What happened in the Dominican Republic?
Over the summer, the TOWIE cast – both old and new faces – filmed scenes in the Dominican Republic for the launch of season 30. It was reported that a handful of the cast refused to wear masks and had been vaping on the flight to Madrid. Newbies Hannah, Pia and Mia were amongst those who were asked to leave the plane, as well as show veteran James 'Diags' Bennewith, Dan Edgar and Jordan Brook. The group were then detained upon their arrival in Madrid.
Pia was then sensationally axed from the show - before ever appearing on our screens, we might add - after angering ITV bosses with her alleged “inappropriate behaviour” relating to the incident. Pia had already filmed her debut scenes in the Dominican Republic with besties Mia and Hannah, but producers were forced to leave them on the cutting room floor after booting her from the show. Mia and Hannah then picked up filming with Pia back in the UK.
