For Closer's digital team, it will go down as the period in British history when Prince Charles was coronated and the Sims family FINALLY released the first episode of House of Sims. Generally, plenty to celebrate this week.
The House of Sims is a new reality series – produced by OnlyFans streaming service, OFTV – starring former TOWIE stars Chloe Sims, Frankie Sims, Demi Sims, Charlie Sims and his fiancée Georgia Shults, and follows the Essex family as they settle into a new life in Hollywood.
The very first episode of the new OFTV series dropped on the streaming service on Wednesday 3 May and we have PLENTY of thoughts to share with you all.
We also have a fair few questions, including, where is Chloe's 18-year-old daughter, Madison and why was there no mention of her in the first episode? It just seems strange considering her mum, aunties and uncle are all uprooting and moving to LA permanently.
That very question was put to Chloe in an interview ahead of the series premiere and there's a perfectly valid reason as to why Madison won't appear or be spoken about in series one – she was 17 when they filmed the series late last year and therefore was too young to be an OFTV creator.
Chloe told the Mirror, "Madison isn't in series one. Although the platform of OFTV is a safe platform – there's not anything explicit on the whole platform – you have to be 18 to be on that platform as a creator."
Ahead of Madison's 18th birthday last month, Chloe said, "Madison is about to turn 18 this month, so yes she hopefully will feature in the new series but in the first one she isn't in it or spoken about – that's just a rule. I hope she will be but that's something Madison has got to decide."
The teenager has, in fact, moved to LA with her family and was with them at the time of filming late last year. Madison will continue to jet back and forth to the UK with her mum as and when.
