Strictly Come Dancing’s Aljaž Škorjanec has been on our screens for a long time now. The dancing pro has been part of the joy that the dancing competition has given us every year since 2013. A whole decade! We can’t believe it’s been that long.
Aljaž won the show during his first series in 2013 when he was partnered with model Abbey Clancy. It’s no surprise that he won, considering his very impressive dancing career.

Yes, he does. Aljaž has been married to dancer and singer Janette Manrara since 2017. The two first met in 2010 when the two of them were on a dancing tour called Burn the Floor, where multiple other Strictly pros joined them.
They were friends for a long while before they got together romantically.
The couple had not one, but three, wedding ceremonies around the world with the first one taking place in London.
On their first ceremony, Janette told Hello!, "The day we got married was in London, 15 July. That was in London at Chelsea town hall. My parents and brother and sister and Aljaž's parents, his sister and her husband, and just our closest friends were all there. So that moment was 'the moment' when we signed the papers, marriage certificate."
Does Aljaž Skorjanec have children?
Yes! The couple made the adorable announcement to Hello! that they were expecting their first child in February this year.
They said that they struggled to get pregnant, and after attempting to conceive naturally, they decided to go down the IVF route. The pair began the process but ended up getting pregnant before finishing a round of treatment.
Janette said, "I know that IVF can be really strenuous on a woman’s body and there is no guarantee it will work, so to know that this little miracle just came from a wonderful night we had together is amazing. I think the baby decided to make Mum and Dad panic a bit before saying, 'ok, fine, I’m coming up now.'"

Yes, he left Strictly in 2022 after nine years in the ballroom and winning the series once.
He took to Instagram to announce his departure saying, "A little while ago I made the tough decision that Strictly 2021 would be my last.
"The show has given me an opportunity and freedom to create and express myself in front of millions of people every weekend for the last 9 years.
“I have lots of exciting stuff planned that I will fill you in on soon. I can't wait to see what the future holds!"
