Some reality TV romances just make sense; take Love Island star Matilda Draper and TOWIE's Roman Hackett for example. When it was revealed that they were an item it was such an, 'OF COURSE they're dating,' moment.
Matilda was a bombshell on Love Island 2024 and made it to the final four alongside sweet salesman Sean Stone but the minute the couple were voted 'worst dressed couple' by the public, we just KNEW it wouldn't last.
Matilda, who prides herself on being a fashion queen was fuming that Sean, who admits he 'dresses like a grandad,' dragged their style status down. Although they made it to the final, to absolutely nobody's surprise, they split shortly after they left the villa.
As for Roman, the reality TV star and model is practically a walking Vogue campaign who, let's be honest, matches Matilda's energy tenfold. Cue countless fit pics, aesthetic Instagram posts and major couple goals from the duo.
Obviously, when two of our fave reality TV stars from two of our fave reality TV shows strike up a romance we want all the deets so when we managed to pull Roman's mate Harry Derbidge for a chat to quiz him about the new love affair.
'I spoke to Roman the other day, and I was like, "I can't wait to meet her",' Harry revealed and same, hun.
'Hopefully we can all get a dinner set in soon,' he went on and, sorry, but if they could air said dinner on TOWIE that would make our year – we would love to see Matilda in Brentwood.
'Roman seems very, very happy, which is lovely,' he added.
Not only did Harry touch on meeting Matilda but he also hinted that we may well see another Love Island contestant down at Sheesh this year.
'I reckon Ronnie [Vint] could fit in, in TOWIE,' he admitted when we asked about the All Stars Islander.
Ronnie is currently in a couple with Harry's Essex pal, Elma Pazar in the Love Island villa and despite him lipsing Kaz Crossley in the not-so-secret garden Elma and Ronnie seem to be making a go of things.
