We are just over half way through season 35 of TOWIE and although the cast enjoyed a cute holiday to Bali they are back on UK soil and have brought the drama with them.

Unsurprisingly, one of the biggest scandals still making the rounds is the disastrous love triangle between Harry Derbidge, his ex Joe Blackman and frenemy Junaid Ahmed.

We have a feeling that Harry was hoping to be done with his ex and former pal, but then Dani Imbert revealed they had hooked up when Harry and Joe were still an item and it all kicked off again.

It wasn't all bad though as Freddie Bentley was on hand to offer Harry a shoulder to cry on and a mouth to kiss. The duo enjoyed a holiday fling but when they returned to Essex, Freddie wasn't vibing with the romance which left Harry feeling mugged off.

During the most recent episode of TOWIE, Harry confessed his feelings to Saffron Lempriere and Sophie Kasaei but Saff couldn't resist giving Harry a bit of a wake-up call.

'As a friend stop the "poor me" because it's not "poor me" in this,' she declared, 'do you get what I mean?'

Her brutal advice left TOWIE fans divided and Harry hurt as he insisted he was 'embarrassed' by the ordeal.

One person commented on the official TOWE Instagram, 'So he’s not allowed to express his feelings to his “friend”??? Like she was so rude!!!'

However, in contrast, another viewer was Team Freddie as they wrote, 'She was right .. Freddie has been respectful.. he was just honest with Harry .. but going around saying oh I feel used .. it is poor me .. Saffron is right to say it ...'

We managed to have a catch up with Freddie where we asked him about how he felt about Saff having his back and her clash with Harry.

'At the end of the day, Saffron is a loyal, dedicated friend, and if she thinks a friend is right or wrong, she will tell them,' Freddy admitted.

'There’s obviously some things that viewers don’t see in the hour-long episode,' he went on, 'we’re filming three days a week, it’s a lot of context to fit into a 45 minute show.'

Ah, the classic unaired scenes deploy.

'A lot of things happened off camera, which obviously weren’t covered as it wasn’t caught on camera,' he went on, 'but this isn’t me badmouthing anyone.'

We love the addition of Freddie's 'no shade' comment at the end; clearly someone has been media trained recently...
