It was a dark day at Closer HQ when TOWIE fan favourite Chloe Brockett confirmed she was done with the show that made her.
Rumours had been swirling for months about whether or not the blow-dry queen would be returning to the reality TV show after she had an, ahem, run-in with Roman Hackett but at the end of February, Chloe confirmed that her and TOWIE were officially DONE.
Since she announced that she was saying goodbye to the show, everybody (and by everybody we mean us) has been wondering what really went down between Chloe and Roman and the real reason for the Brentwood babe exiting TOWIE.
Well, wonder no more, guys, as we managed to pull Chloe for a chat recently and she spilled serious tea and then some. Not only that, but this all comes just as Roman hit back at Chloe for "false allegations" around their bust-up.
My God, these TOWIE stars sure know how to keep us entertained.
"It was a decision that I made," Chloe exclusively revealed to Closer as she discussed her exit from the ITV reality series. "I know some news outlets have reported that I was sacked; that is not true, categorically not true. I left, it was my decision."
Everybody assumed that Chlo was booted from the show after she allegedly threw glasses at Roman during an altercation but it turns out that she was only temporarily suspended.
"I was scheduled to go back after Bali, to be honest," she told us. "I haven’t told anyone that, but I was, and I decided not to. I just felt like I was at a place in my life where I don’t want any drama. I don’t want the agg."
ICYMI, Roman has also addressed the feud between him and Chloe as well as the accusation that he called her all the names under the sun.
Talking to The Sun, the TOWIE star revealed, "Chloe said I called her a ‘Fat c***’ and made it out like I was in her face saying this. I did say those words, but not directly to her. I said it as I walked away out of frustration because she had just thrown three glasses at me."
If we're being honest, both the TOWIE stars are in the wrong with this one; we do not condone violence or just casually using the 'C' word and making jibes about somebody's weight.
"I did her a favour by not saying anything," Roman continued, "But I won’t stand for someone making false allegations."
At least Chloe and Roman won't have to be in front of the camera together any time soon as when we asked Chloe if she would return to The Only Way is Essex she was not hesitant with her reply.
She told us, "No. Not on my behalf. It was left open, but I’ve decided that I won’t return. Why would I go back to something I’ve left? It’s like leaving a job, everyone sends you a goodbye card, and then you swan in a month later. It’s embarrassing. You can’t do that."
And that's the tea.
