TOWIE favourite Amy Childs is hoping that 2025 will be a year to remember. As well as planning her wedding to fiancé Billy Delbosq after getting engaged in 2023, the mum-of-four is doing an amazing job at maintaining her two-stone weight loss in the run-up to her big day.

Not only that, but Amy – mum to twins Billy and Milly, who turn two this month, as well as Polly, seven, and Ritchie, six, from previous relationships – continues to star on TOWIE , returning to the latest series alongside fellow OG Lauren Goodger and her cousin Harry Derbidge.

In an emotional showdown, viewers watched Harry have his heart broken as it emerged his former best pal, Junaid Ahmed, had been secretly romancing Harry’s boyfriend at the time, Joe Blackman. Now, Amy, 34, tells Closer the advice she has given her younger cousin – as well as all the details about her upcoming nuptials…

What’s been going on for you on TOWIE this series?

It has been quite full on! Obviously, I’ve just been there for Harry. It’s about having the right people around him, and he has all of us – a great family. You’ll see a lot unravel.

Harry and Freddie Bentley became close in Bali, but have since cooled things off…

Harry needs to enjoy himself and get out on a few dates. He’s been in the gym and we’ve been training together, but it has been a lot for him. He’s a strong person and he forgets how strong he is. As long as Harry is happy, and no one upsets him, then I’m fine. If anyone upsets him then there’s a problem – I’m very protective. I feel like I’m his older sister, and we are very similar.

Does he need to take a break from dating?

I think he should enjoy dating, but take it slow – which is hard to do! Harry has suffered heartbreak, but hopefully the next person he meets will be amazing and the one for him. I’m rooting for him.

What other scenes have you been filming?

Me and Lauren had a few scenes together. We’ve been on the show since day one, so we go back such a long time. We’re like the old girls of the show – and we used to be the young ones! My scenes are lovely and I have a laugh, but if anyone does upset Harry, that’s when I might kick off!

Would you like to do other reality TV shows?

I’d really like to, but it is hard with having four kids. Polly is getting older, and in three years she’ll be in secondary school. If the right show comes along, I’d love to do it, but it’s about finding the time. Polly is like a teenager – and the twins are really full on, and will be for a while yet!

You previously told Closer that you wanted to set a wedding date for September or October

In my head, we will have an ‘end of summer’ wedding, but I have nothing planned yet! This is the worrying thing – I still don’t know if it will be this year. But there’s still time to make it work. Every week we change our minds, we go from talking about it non-stop, to not speaking about it at all the following week.

Do you think you will run out of time to do it this year?

Yes – I don’t know if five months is enough time to plan it. It’s so much pressure. I don’t want to be stressed. It’s my big day. I want everything to be perfect, and at the minute we don’t know what is going on. With so much to sort out, I do feel overwhelmed. And Amy Childs getting married has to be extravagant! I want it to be an amazing day for me and Bill. I don’t want us to be rushed.

Have you seen a venue that you’d like?

There is one place which we are happy with – it looks unreal – and there is a date available for this year… but we’ve not spoken about it since. That’s all I can say. It does seem too good to be true so we’re not in a position to tell anyone yet. We may have this venue – so the question is, do we have enough time to plan it? It’s even hard to find time to finalise the guestlist.

The Only Way Is Essex is on Sundays at 9pm on ITVBe and ITVX.
