TOWIE viewers have seen the fallout from Amber Turner’s split from Dan Edgar play out on-screen as the former couple try to make sense of their break-up and move on from the six-year relationship.
It’s definitely been emotional, with Amber tearfully admitting to “f**king up” amid cheating rumours surrounding both herself and Dan, and it looks like that’s only going to continue as a preview for this week’s episode shows Amber meeting Dan’s mum Wendy for a heart-to-heart.
After revealing to Sophie Kasaei that she “didn’t know” if she wanted to get back with Dan or not, Amber receives a visit from Wendy to discuss the break-up with Dan and the possibility of a reunion.
In a teaser clip, Wendy can be seen asking Amber, “Would you seriously want ‘let’s have children, let’s get married’?”
Amber wipes away tears as she replies, “If he was to get down on one knee tomorrow, I would say yeah because I love him.”
While it remains to be seen how Amber and Wendy leave things – and whether Amber reconciles with Dan – we can guarantee this isn’t the last we’ll see of the split saga.
In fact, after Amber posted about her Celebrity SAS stint (more on that in a sec), Dan's mum commented under her photo and wrote, "Proud of how well you did ❤️."
Amber confirmed she and Dan had split earlier this year when she took to Instagram to tell her followers, “I wasn't going to post anything, but due to speculation and questions I feel like I need to. Yes, me and Dan have split. I honestly wish him the best for the future. Please respect our privacy at this time. Thank you.”
Since then, Amber has been linked to her Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins co-star Chris Oliver who works as an instructor on the show.
According to reports, Amber and Chris exchanged flirty messages but she was left “mortified” when she discovered that he had a long-term girlfriend, Jasmine Sherman – who then confronted Amber after she discovered their texts.
An insider revealed, “Chris and Amber had been DM-ing each other and Jasmine found them. The messages were very chatty and conversational but some appeared to be a bit flirty...”
“Chris had sent the odd picture too and talked about going out in London with Amber. For Jasmine it came as a shock,” they told The Sun.
“She was understandably angry and wanted to know just what was happening. Chris had asked for Amber's phone number so Jasmine rang her and they spoke.”
