Viewers first met EastEnders Gus Smith (played by Mohammed George) on EastEnders waaaaay back in 2002 while he was working at a bed company.

We all witnessed the lovable character date Sonia Fowler, look after the beloved Wellard (after Robbie Jackson left the East End behind for India) and wave farewell to the square with his girlfriend Keisha and her band to travel the world.

We even got to see Gus get revenge on the bullying Sean Slater (played by Rob Kazinsky) by exposing him as a cocaine dealer.

We haven’t seen much of the actor Mohammed since, and now we know why… he’s now a big time DJ!

Yup.

If you take a look through his Instagram you’ll see pictures of the 33-year-old looking pretty much the same. However, he’s swapped playing a dustbin man in EastEnders for partying in Ibiza.

The former actor is now a full-time DJ and earlier this year he released a single called This is for the Fathers.

Take a look at him now:

And he seems to be really into fitness…

Even when he doesn’t have a gym:

Can you remember Gus on EastEnders?

Do you miss him?
