If you’re an EastEnders fan, you’ll probably remember when Hunter Owen was killed off in dramatic scenes just over three years ago after holding basically the whole of Walford hostage in the Queen Vic.

Charlie Winter, the actor who played the troubled teen, has stepped away from acting since leaving the soap but recently returned to the spotlight following a rather unexpected career move.

Charlie – or Chaz, as he’s now known – is forging a new career as a rapper and recently went viral on TikTok after releasing a video for his latest song.

The short clip was filmed in an empty London Underground tube carriage and features a reference to his soap background when he raps, “My previous go search it, I was in the East End rehearsing.”

Following the release of the track, Chaz was supported by his former co-star Zack Morris, who played Keegan Baker, who commented, “THATS HOW ITS DONE! 🔥.”

However, fans couldn’t believe the rapper was the same person who played Hunter. One remarked, “Hunter from EastEnders come a long way.”

Another added, “Someone took the criminal storyline too seriously 😂,” while a third wrote, “Pls tell me that it’s Hunter from EastEnders.”
