It always seems like our favourite soaps are getting shifted around every time there's a big sporting event on and that's exactly what's happened now that the FIFA World Cup has started. With lots of matches being shown on BBC One, EastEnders is either being moved to a new channel or a new slot to accommodate all of the football being shown at the moment.
Fear not though, you're still able to get your daily dose of Albert Square drama, but it might not be in its usual time or place.

When is EastEnders on?
EastEnders bosses announced a major scheduling change back in February 2022. As of the week commencing 7 March 2022, EastEnders no longer airs on Friday evenings. The soap will instead air at 7.30pm every night from Monday to Thursday.
Is EastEnders on tonight?
Although EastEnders usually airs at 7.30pm every night from Monday to Thursday, changes are occasionally made to the schedule when there is a big sporting event like Wimbledon or the FIFA World Cup or if there is breaking news.
The FIFA World Cup 2022 commenced on Sunday 20 November, with matches being split between BBC One and ITV1. If BBC One are showing a match which starts at 7pm, then it means that unfortunately EastEnders won't be in its regular slot.
