It's been a while since Hollyoaks viewers last saw Russ Owen.
During his time on the show he married Mercedes McQueen but was devastated when it came to light that she was having an affair with Warren Fox. He then kidnapped his son Max McQueen and returned to the village nine years later as a millionaire and Mercy's fiancé.
Russ was brutally murdered by Breda McQueen and that's the last time he was seen in village but now Stuart Manning - who played the character - has unveiled his new look and wow.
On Instagram he shared a photo of what we're used to seeing alongside what he looks like nowadays and he's certainly not the squeaky clean cut lad we knew anymore.
"My beard is massive, I’ve been growing it out for an exciting new role... That’s now on ice for a while because of coronavirus. Should the beard stay or go?," he wrote on Instagram.
Lots of his followers were divided by his beard, with one person writing, "Move away from the blade ....🧔🏻💈".
Someone else said, "Keep the beard mate!! The role will happen..x❤️🤗👍".
Another wrote, "Keep it just trim it back mate".
However one of his followers urged, "GET. RID. OF. THE. BEARD.".
Someone else argued, "Go, your face looks much happier without it... 😀".
And even Tamara Wall, who plays Grace Black on the soap, said, "Go!!!!!".
