It's become a significant trend in recent years for ITV casting to recruit a nepo baby or two (around this time of year, actually) for a summer series of Love Island.
Michael Owen's daughter Gemma Owen, Carl Fogarty's daughter Claudia Fogarty, Danny Dyer's daughter Dani Dyer and Ronan Keating's son Jack Keating have all appeared on the show in the last few years. So who's next?
Well, if we had to take a sensible stab, we'd say Real Housewives of Cheshire legend Tanya Bardsley's daughter, 23-year-old Gabriella.
We know for a fact that ITV casting have had their eye on Gabriella while recruiting previous seasons of the popular dating show, but according to mum Tanya, she has always turned it down.
BUT, in an exclusive conversation with Closer online about her family's new ITVBe reality show, The Bardsley Bunch – which both Tanya and Gabriella star in – we sensed the offer wasn't entirely off the cards in 2025.
Tanya exclusively told Closer online, ‘[Gabriella's] already said no [to Love Island] and we do need to get her a boyfriend.’
Speaking on working with her daughter on their new family realty series, Tanya confessed, 'Gabriella just lives in fairy land anyway. So it's just another nice thing, you know, a little fairy land.'
Okay, we are officially shipping Gabriella on Love Island 2025 if any big wigs at ITV are reading this; not only is she drop-dead gorgeous, but if she's anything like her iconic mother then you're pretty much guaranteed some golden television this summer.
And let's be honest, Love Island is always a better option than Raya. Eww.
In past interviews, Tanya has spoken openly out about how she would love her daughter, Gabriella, to go on the popular ITV dating show. Back in October 2024, Tanya revealed exclusively to Closer online that Gabriella has had multiple conversations with Love Island producers – but she keeps turning them down.
Tanya revealed, 'Well, she's been asked twice now and she's said no. Gabriella... she reminds me of a Disney princess. She's a bit like me, but nicer. You can't do any of the game playing and stuff – she'd just cry. She loves watching [Love Island], she's a big fan of it, but she doesn't think she'd enjoy it.'
