If you're a Real Housewives of Cheshire fan, today is a tough day. Thank goodness we have each other, eh?

For those asking "Why?" today is Wednesday 13 March 2024, the day after RHOCheshire OG Lauren Simon became the second housemate evicted from the Celebrity Big Brother house. And FOR WHAT reasons?

OKAY, she broke the rules talking about nominations with Louis Walsh, OKAY, she couldn't remember Colson Smith's name for a week and a half, and OKAY, she tricked British television icon Fern Britton into doing her laundry (obsessed), who cares? We've all lost a telly legend on that show; two telly legends if you count Sharon Osbourne.

It was a tough night.

Shortly ahead of Lauren's eviction, we managed to arrange a JUICY interview with her 19-year-old daughter Gigi to discuss her superstar reality queen of a mother, Celebrity Big Brother, and the show that gave her her icon status – RHOCheshire.

After a good goss about her views on her mama's short-lived CBB stint – including her sharing her unfiltered views on Louis Walsh – we moved on to all things Real Housewives of Cheshire series 17, and to our surprise, Gigi spilled some major production tea, giving us a vivid insight in to how one of our favourite reality shows is put together. We say 'to our surprise', she is her mother's daughter, so we're not that surprised.

Gigi revealed, "Filming for The Real Housewives of Cheshire – it's a mission. There’s about ten cameras, 20 film people; first of all, one scene takes about an hour because you'll walk in and they'll say, 'Okay, cut, do it again. Walk in, cut, do it again.'

"It’s staged, but it's not scripted. Which is why sometimes people can come through as pretentious, because by the end of the day after they've been filming for so long again and again, you get tired and you just want the scene over."

She continued, "And my mum always used to say it's hard work and I never got it and then I did it once and I got it."

Don't worry, we'll happily mop up this colossal tea spillage.

Gigi went on to confirm that she did film scenes for series 17 of the ITVBe series with her mum before she entered the Celebrity Big Brother House.

She told Closer, "Before she left we just talked about my social life, my life at uni, my life as a girl right now and it was a good scene. That should be a little snippet; they ask me to film quite regularly and I only take it up occasionally."

Queen energy right there and we're obsessed. We wonder where she gets it...
