The cast of The Real Housewives of Cheshire return to our screens tonight (Monday 8 January) after what feels like 84 years (aww, can we bring back that Titanic meme in 2024?) and our body and souls are ready for some fresh, opulent drama to live vicariously through (we literally just ate a Cuppa Soup for lunch, so it's much needed).

The ladies are returning for a brand-new special which will air tonight and tomorrow evening (Tuesday 9 January) – short and sweet; but if it's anything like their Christmas Cruising series then we're bracing ourselves for something, well, special.

And we haven't seen them on-screen for literally months now, so we'll take whatever breadcrumbs they're chucking at us at this point.

The special will revolve around the ladies' recent (well, not really, they filmed this in August) visit to Manchester Pride and the return of OG Housewife Ampika Pickston, so we are anticipating an overflow of CAMP.

Despite the joyous premise (Pride and Housewives - so much yes) it seems RHOCheshire bosses have felt it necessary to warn "nasty" fans to steer clear of the special, as well as the official Instagram account, and we are right there with them. Same goes for our socials, please and thank you.

Taking to the official RHOCheshire Instagram story, a show boss addressed the show's followers hours before the special debut, warning, "Just a quick reminder, any nasty comments will be deleted and the accounts will be blocked. Opinions are 100% fine and valid, but nastiness will not be tolerated on this page."

More of this from every reality show, please.

So, what can fans (the well-behaved ones) expect from the hotly-anticipated upcoming special? Sadly, all we know for certain is what the official RHOCheshire Instagram account teased last month, and that's, "The two-part Pride Special shows our gorgeous group of ladies experiencing different aspects of queer culture and Pride itself and with some familiar faces joining the group, old feuds are reignited."

We also know that former Housewives Tanya Bardsley, Ester Dee, and Ampika are all returning to the fold for the special, as are Nick and Royston, so we're anticipating/manifesting handbags at dawn (Dawn Ward?) when these three reunite on-camera.

The RHOCheshire official Instagram keeps asking if we're ready; we're not sure we are, tbh...
