If we're expecting some major Real Housewives of Cheshire tea to imminently spill, historically, we've always checked the marbled floors of either Rachel Lugo, Lystra Adams, Lauren Simon, Nicole Sealey, Paige Chohan... Actually, abort that; all these reality queens are rather exceptional at spilling show tea, aren't they? Okay, well, one cast member who is still a bit new to all this pre-filming tea-spilling is series 17 newbie Eleanor Egar, and while she only started filming with the girls last series, she's definitely now entered her tea-spilling era, because this spillage was giving confidential information.
Until Eleanor revealed all in a recent Instagram Q&A, we were firmly under the impression that the highly-anticipated ten-year anniversary series of The Real Housewives of Cheshire wasn't commencing filming until January 2025, which wasn't really even tea as the regular series always starts filming at the start of a new year. We also knew that series 18 was kicking off with a celebratory girls' trip, which again, not really tea as these icons are constantly holidaying on and off camera. And while the likes of Tanya Bardsley and Lauren had seriously whet our appetites for the milestone series in recent exclusive chats, they were keeping their cards close to their chests.
And then Eleanor – who joined the reality series as Paige's mate earlier this year – answered one all important question very publicly, shedding some serious light on production of the new series. When asked whether she was still filming Housewives, Elle (can we call you, Elle?) revealed that the teased girls' trip is actually happening at the end of this month (which is this week btw), which not only means that filming for the new series starts this week, but in our minds, potentially means we're getting more than the usual ten to twelve episodes for the anniversary series.
Sharing a snap of her looking all young Cruella in a stunning white, wintry coat, Elle revealed, 'We have a very exciting trip pending at the end of this month.'
She then added, 'Ekkkkkk! And then into the new year, I'm excited for this season.'
Okay, this changes everything.
Sadly, we don't know a huge amount about this celebratory girls' trip at this stage (those RHOCheshire producers always keep the trip locations well under wraps), but Rachel did recently reveal they were going somewhere 'hot', which means we're probably not getting a Christmassy Lapland special this time around.
We can always rely on Rachel to give fans just enough goss to not get in trouble with ITVBe bigwigs and she's done it again. The popular Housewife took to her Instagram this week to share not one, but two posts revealing some of the new outfits she has purchased ahead of a lavish girls' holiday 'somewhere hot' to celebrate the start of the show's ten-year anniversary series.
Posing with various stylish looks purchased from Alderley Edge shopping hot-spot, OutDazl, Rachel told her 314K followers, 'I did say on one of my stories where we were going, I'm not sure I was allowed to, but it's going to be hot.'
We also know the girls' trip is on the coast somewhere, as Rachel mentioned dressing for the beach one or two times in her Instagram posts. She also revealed a stunning outfit that she plans to wear for 'dinner on the beach', which in our books means an infamous dinner party is on the cards for filming, too.
WATCH: It looks like we can expect some new cast members on the Real Housewives of Cheshire just in time for the 10th anniversary as Tanya Bardsley and Lauren Simon have spilled the tea on series 18
