We're talking Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, Ella Thomas, Wes Nelson, Maura Higgins, Tom Clare, Molly Smith – that kind of Love island famous.
This year, we have an inkling two or three Love Island 2024 stars are going to go on to dominate this game known as influencing, but one we're absolutely certain is well on her way to becoming a 2024 A-lister is bombshell Uma Jammeh – mainly because she recently revealed that Vogue want to talk to her.

A few days after she dramatically walked out of the Love Island 2024 villa arm in arm with now boyfriend Wil Anderson, Uma and Wil paid us a visit at Closer HQ and Uma revealed that not only had she been speaking to former editor-in-chief of British Vogue and now Vogue's Global Creative and Cultural Advisor Edward Enninful, but the fashion legend paid her a visit during her appearance on Aftersun on Sunday (14 July 2024) and has even offered to take her for lunch to talk about her career.
When asked to confirm the rumours that the Vogue icon had called her "a star", Uma exclusively revealed to Closer online, "Edward [Enninful], the editor of Vogue, did call me 'a star'. I couldn't believe that. When I came out and I saw that comment, I was like, 'Me? No way'.
"Actually, I've been speaking to him and he came to Aftersun to watch me and to meet me in person and we're going to go for lunch and probably have some exciting new things to do. I'm very happy and I'm very excited. I absolutely love him, he's an amazing person."
This whole plot is giving Netflix romcom and we're obviously unbelievably here for it – AND in the same month it was confirmed that a Devil Wears Prada sequel was in the works, too.
Just follow Uma around this summer, to be honest, Hollywood - there's your plot.
During their visit to Closer HQ, in addition to talking about Uma's exciting career path, the Love Island power couple also revealed the identity of Love Island 2024's secret sleep SINGER and LAUGHER and we had NO CLUE.
Wil and Uma left the Love Island villa hand-in-hand on day 37 when Wil was left single and dumped after new bombshell Reuben Collins chose to couple up with Uma (following Wil's indiscretions with Lucy Graybill in Casa Amor). Upon learning the news, Uma decided to walk and leave with him.
