If there's one thing we love about Love Island 2019 star Maura Higgins - other than her hilarious personality and witty one liners, of course - then it's her trademark chocolate brown hair. It somehow always looks like something from a Galaxy advert.
From long and straight to a chic updo, Maura has rocked plenty of different styles since rising to fame on the ITV2 dating show three years ago.
But there's one thing that we didn't know about Maura's hair; it's naturally wavy. More than that; in its natural state, it's a wavy, lion's mane (her words and ours). Grrrr.
Maura recently shared a sun-soaked snap which showed off her natural hair and we have to admit, we're loving it.
She shared the picture on her Instagram Story she wrote, "Natural hair strikes again."
How gorge.
What's her secret, we hear you ask? Going on holiday, good genes and not brushing her hair for a few days.
Maura posted another shot of her naturally wavy locks a few days later and all we can say is THE VOLUME.
She compared her natural look to that of a lion's mane and we can see why. She wrote, "Not going to lie... I've not brushed my hair in days 🦁."
We wish humidity did that to our hair. Actually, we just wish we were somewhere with humidity to do that to our hair right now. Sigh.
Although this is the first time she's shown off her natural waves, Maura revealed she was going grey in April 2021 when she revealed her lockdown roots on social media.
