We've been obsessed with the Love Island lot for the past eight weeks and we're not done yet.
It's well known at this point that as soon as Islanders leave the villa, they spill all the tea on the unaired scenes and now a Love Island 2023 star has revealed a major secret.
Montel McKenzie joined Love Island 2021 star Toby Aromolaran on the Fancy a Chat? podcast and explained that 2023 finalist Tyrique Hyde almost quit the villa half way through the series.
Speaking about the fallout following Casa Amor, the Montel claimed, "Ty's head was f--king out the box.
"His head was gone. He didn't know how to think, he was trying to leave... We had to talk to him so many times.
"I had to sit him down and say, 'Relax. Chat to her [Ella Thomas] and see what she has to say.'"
Remember Casa Amor this year? Ella recoupled with Ouzy See and Ty was left devastated.
Imagine if Ty left, the whole series would be different.
Ella would have either left with him or continued to get to know Ouzy. Which means Kady McDermott would have either had to recouple or leave the villa shortly after Casa...
And while Ty and Ella are loved up, in a relationship and made Love Island final - it looks like things could have been very different if he listened to other castmates after Casa.
"I was close to Ella so I know she's not a d-ckhead and she does like him [Ty] a lot. So I was saying give it time, speak to her [Ella] and see what she says.
"[But] some people...a couple people were like, 'Just cut it off. She violated,'" Montel said.
Montel claimed that it was Scott van der Sluis who told Ty to cut things off with Ella because they were "exclusive".
Good job Ty didn't listen to Scott, ey?
