This might be one of the grossest Love Island stories we've ever written and we have to thank the 2024 Islanders for it.
Over the years we've had Islanders exposing how filthy the bathroom is, rumours of dirty bed sheets, ants running rampant in the villa and now thanks to Hugo Godfroy we know the smelliest Islanders of series 11.
During an exclusive chat with Hugo and Jess White we asked what was difficult about living in the villa and us being us, we assumed they'd say missing family and friends, never knowing the time or only having two showers between all the Islanders.
But no.
Turns out it's the Islanders stinking out the bedroom because of their bum gas. Ew.
Hugo explained, "On the down day, it's boys and girls separate.
"So as a boy, you have to share a bed with another boy and if you're with a snorer or someone that farts I mean, we had a little nickname in there called wafters."
And Hugo named and shamed, claiming, "It was me, Ayo Odukoya and Joey Essex."
Remind us to ask Jessica Spencer and Jessy Potts how they're coping with their wafter partners Ayo and Joey because, personally, we'd have to sleep alone outside even with the risk of getting chewed alive by the mosquitos.
During our chat Hugo also revealed why he struggled with sleeping in the villa.
"The first night I went into the main villa they made me sleep outside and it must have been about 5am so we got into bed and within an hour the sun beaming on us, 30 degree heat," he explained.
Jess added, "Where you go to sleep some days at like five in the morning and obviously you don't wake up until midday, but then you'd then have like a chill day, maybe the day after, so your body clock is used to going to sleep at five in the morning and then on your chilled it's like right eveyone go to sleep but it's 9pm.
"And it's like how can you go from one extreme to another? And then they were like, 'You're gonna have a really good sleep tonight' but all of us would just sit up and just stare at each other like, 'When are they going to wake us up?' because we're all so bored. We'd have like 15 hours sleep, so that was hard."
