Every year (well, now twice a year), Love Island producers gift us with at least one absolute boss of a female icon who becomes our world for months on end. She's the type who is never short of a one liner, can fuel a tidal wave of memes with a single glance and isn't afraid to throw serious shade where needed. She usually comes with a totally unique personality that is utterly infectious – so much so that we seem to gradually lose our own personalities over the weeks Love Island is airing to fully adopt their character traits, mannerisms and lingo.

Love Island 2020's (the very first winter Love Island) was undoubtedly Siânnise Fudge (although Shaughna Phillips was a well-deserved runner-up, it has to be said) and Love Island 2023's icon is undoubtedly Whitney Adebayo.

This gorgeous Bristolian Morticia (that perfect, straight, slick, jet-black hair, though) we never knew we needed, entered the very first South African villa as one of the OG's in early 2020 and we instantly fell in love with her. She coupled up with fellow icon Luke Trotman on day 18 and the adorable pair – whose synchronised talent show dance still lives in our head three years on – made it all the way to the final finishing in second place.

The couple went on to make a seriously good go of a relationship in the outside world – despite a global pandemic being declared just a few weeks after the final – but decided to call it quits towards the end of 2021.

We mourned hard.

Since the split, it's got to be said that the beauty consultant turned influencer (she tests a LOT of make-up and skincare products that would send us plummeting into our overdrafts - more so) has taken a few notable steps out of the public eye. Again, we mourned.

But Siânnise recently popped back on to our radar when we realised she had gone semi-public with a new relationship via Instagram, sharing her new man's identity with her 1.5m Instagram followers – and, of course, he's fit (although it's going to take a lot of cutesy couple behaviour for him to replace Luke T in our hearts because that was just couple goals in its heyday).

It's undeniable that this Love island icon is looking happy as Larry with her new fella if her recent holiday Instagram snaps are anything to go by.

Siânnise posted one snap of her new boyf (we're assuming boyf based on the captions used), gym owner and footballer George Rigg, with the caption, "My date always 🤍 @georgerigg_."

She also shared a stunning beach snap of her and George, captioning it with a "🤍".

From what we can tell, George and Siânnise are currently on holiday with Siânnise's family in Cyprus and we have to say, it's nice to see this Love Island 2020 fave glowing again – and not just because she's been sent some boujie skin product to review.

Early last year, Siannise officially confirmed that she was single after she was asked if rumours that she had moved on from Luke T with model Chris Beviere were true.

She confirmed, "No I don’t have a new boyfriend & I’m currently not dating. I can’t control what people post or write about me but what I can control is how I respond. Unless it’s come from my mouth or I have publicly posted/announced something regarding me having a new boyfriend, then I am very much single & I’m content with that right now."

As such, we will say that although Siânnise has not officially confirmed that George is her new boyfriend, we're taking all the heart emojis and the word 'date' – not to mention the fact that George is holidaying with Siânnise and her fam at this very moment – as pretty positive signs for now.
