Another day, another Love Island star being dumped from the villa and revealing they have reality TV connections all over the place.
After the trials and tribulations of Casa Amor week there are always a few guys and girlies we have to say ‘so long' to and this year there seemed to have been more than usual.
Two of the bombshells who didn’t make it back to the main villa, despite both having a kiss and a flirt with Sean Stone, are Ruby Dale and Diamanté Laiva.
As soon as it was revealed that they were being sent packing we knew we had to invite the Casa cuties down to Closer HQ because it was clear to anybody who watched the dating show that they had THOUGHTS to share.
We quizzed them on whether they knew any other reality TV stars prior to their Love Island 2024 stint or whether any had slid into their DMs and, surprise surprise, the answer was YES.
“I had - and this is the tea - I had someone from TOWIE slide into my DMs just before,” Ruby confessed and have we mentioned that the Surrey star is an absolute icon?
“As for after, I haven’t really been checking my DMs, I have been trying to keep off my phone.”
We have an inkling that Ruby will have more than just one Essex fella sending her a cheeky message now she’s back on UK soil.
When we asked for further deets and if anything would be coming of the said TOWIE x Love Island meet cute, Ruby was firm but fair.
“Said TOWIE DM? Erm no,” she replied. “You are lovely, but just not for me. I feel like you are a serial dater.”
There are a few of The Only Way is Essex guys it could be; Roman Hackett perhaps? We know he has a penchant for Love Island ladies having dated Summer Botwe and Ella Barnes.
Or maybe Dan Edgar and Ella Rae Wise aren’t back on, and he has his sights set on Ruby?
Or could it be a former TOWIE chap like James ‘Lockie’ Lock or Pete Wicks?
It pains us that we don't know - yet.
Not only that, but Ruby also hinted that she isn't on the best of terms with a DIFFERENT The Only Way is Essex star.
"I do know people from TOWIE, I've been at events and they've been there," she revealed before adding, "There is someone on TOWIE who has me blocked on Instagram for no reason."
We're just going to leave that there...
