The Love Island finale is in sight which can mean only one thing; more brutal dumpings and more bitter Islanders ready to spill the tea.
We have said goodbye to not one, not two, not three, but FOUR couples in the past two weeks and one of the duos was sent packing by Whitney Adebayo and Lochan Nowacki after they were voted most compatible couple by the public and were forced to chose one to dump from the villa. So long, Kady McDermott and Ouzy See.
Some of the other Islanders disagreed with Whitney and Lochan's decision to boot out Kady and Ouzy, rather than Mitch Taylor and Ella Barnes, who were also in the bottom two and it got rather heated.
It turns out Tyrique Hyde and Abi Moores - the two contestants that were Team Kady and Ouzy rather than Team Ella B and Mitch - may not be alone in their thinking, as a recently dumped couple aren't feeling the Ella B and Mitch vibes.
Catherine Agbaje and Elom Ahlijah-Wilson stopped by the Closer offices to chat all things Love Island and gave us some exclusives about the couples left in the villa.
When asked if Mitch had finally found the one in Ella B, it took Catherine approximately 0.000002 seconds to reply, "Erm, no."
We stan the honesty.
"He's just blinded by lust," she explained, "He's been single and now he's trying to be a player.
"Just focus on love, please."
By "trying to be a player", does Catherine mean playing Ella B and Abi off against each other? Because that is exactly what Mitch attempted to do. However, in the words of Abi, "girls talk" and Mitch's plan came crashing down when he tried to woo them both at the same time.
Elom went on to say, "I feel like he likes Abi more than he likes Ella B, but he's just in the moment right now."
A potentially controversial opinion from the Casa Amor bombshell, as according to Whitney, it's Abi who is "bitter" abut Mitch choosing Ella and not her.
Will "snake man" Mitch, to quote Zachariah Noble, make the final? Hmm.
