What we're saying is, even the most diehard Love Island fan could be forgiven for forgetting when certain Islanders found fame in the villa, who they coupled up with and more importantly what they did next. One of the 2019 series OGs was model and influencer, Lucie Donlan – the focus of today's lesson.
Four years on from finding fame on Love Island, Lucie has gone on to become one of the biggest influencers and models in the post-show game, even going on to bag herself a Love Island 2020 hunk who may or may not be Justin Bieber (we're still not convinced). She continues to slay the game alongside her Love Island bae in her hometown of Cornwall, posting content so UNREAL it would make Molly Mae Hague jel (no, that's not possible – we take it back).

Lucie Donlan is a reality star, model and influencer who rose to fame on the fifth series of ITV2 dating show Love Island in 2019. Lucie was one of the original contestants and certainly caused some drama during her 36 days in the villa, but she was dumped alongside George Rains during a brutal double dumping.

Lucie is now engaged to another Love Island star, Luke Mabbott, who appeared on the first ever winter edition of the ITV2 show six months after Lucie starred in the summer 2019 series.
Lucie and Luke began dating in July 2020, just weeks after he split from Demi Jones (what a time). Following weeks of speculation after eagle-eyed fans noticed some flirty Instagram comments between them, the pair confirmed they were an item when they posted matching Instagram snaps from a romantic coastal getaway.
The couple got engaged in December 2021 and are now living together in Cornwall.

Very much so. Lucie recently updated her followers on Instagram, saying, "Onto the next adventure. It’s a crazy time for us at the moment but it’s all part of what comes next!
"We are leaving today on our next trip and won’t be back for a while.. we are heading off to maybe find our wedding venue, travel and to maybe even think about relocating one day.
"I'm so proud of @lukemabbott building up his property portfolio in his business, so now he feels like it’s the right time to sell his house and move in with me in my Cornish Cottage when we get back with Bunny."

Yep, Lucie and Joe Garratt first coupled up in the Love Island 2019 villa before he was dumped on day 16. Lucie didn’t leave the villa until day 36 after coupling up with Casa Amor bombshell George Rains, but when things didn’t work out with him, she recoupled with Joe in the outside world. They dated for four months before calling it quits.
Why did Lucie Donlan and Maura Higgins fall out?
We don't know for sure, but in March 2023 Maura Higgins sparked rumours she'd fallen out with her 2019 villa bestie after eagle-eyed fans noticed that she's unfollowed Lucie on Instagram.

Yes, Lucie was a competitive surfer in her teens; she began surfing at the age of 13, but she now surfs for fun since appearing on Love Island.

“I used to be a size 12, and now I’m a six,” she told the OK!. “When I was younger I’d always eat chocolates and pasta. When I started modelling at 17 I realised I needed to lose a bit of weight to be healthy.
“I don’t drink or smoke, and I eat well and exercise.”
Like a lot of the Islanders, she also admitted that producers had had their eye on her for a few years before she finally agreed to take part, saying, “the first year I was really loved up.
“The second time I’d just had a break-up because I cheated. Then I was heartbroken about the guy I cheated with, because I thought we’d be together but he brushed me off.”
