A dumped Love Islandstar has revealed how they already knew a major plot twist and now everything seems to make sense.
Now we know we probably say this every year but Love Island 2023 (not the winter series) has honestly been one of the most shocking series in ages.
Remember when Kady McDermott returned seven years after her first stint in 2016?
Or when Ella Thomas brought Ouzy See back from Casa Amor and poor Tyrique Hyde was left alone?
However the scene that left the Islanders, viewers and our jaws on the floor was when Molly Marsh was savagely dumped after Kady recoupled with Zach Noble.
It was the silence in the villa for us, tbh.
And while the rest of us on the outside were kind of - but not really - surprised that Molly went back in for Casa Amor, it turns out the 2023 girls had an inkling that she was back too.
When we caught up Catherine Agbaje and Elom Ahlijah-Wilson in an exclusive interview for Closer's Secrets, the OG Islander revealed that the producers dropped a major hint about Molly's return.
After we asked what everyone's reaction was to Molly's return because other than Jess Harding's shocked face, no one else seemed to even notice, Catherine joked, "No one really reacted."
"I feel like there was so much shock, we were all processing the Ty and Ella situation, the Scott and my situation... I think when I sat down I was like, 'Molly, I'm sorry. You're back!'"
However she then added, "We kind of knew that Molly was back because she took her curler [when she was dumped] but then in Casa we received a bunch of stuff that was meant for the main villa.
"And we were like, 'Whose curler is this?' And I was like, 'This is Molly's curler' but I just thought maybe it was left around. So I kind of had an inkling.
"I think once we spoke about it they [the producers] were like, 'Shut up', and I was like, 'Oh. Okay...'"
Hmm.
After Molly returned to the villa she seemed to get things back on track with Zach, well, until he snogged Kady during the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge.
But before she was dumped from the villa, one 2023 Islander hinted that Molly and Zach are the least compatible couple.
Ouch.
