Gabby Allen might be excited about her return to the Love Island villa, but the news is said to be bringing all kinds of angst for Jacqueline Jossa.
Over six years after Gabby, 32, was accused of having a fling with Jac’s husband Dan Osborne – something both parties denied – insiders say that her Love Island: All Stars 2025 appearance has worried the EastEnders star once more.
A source tells Closer, ‘It's not exactly the news Jac wanted to hear. She was tipped off before New Year's on the All Stars line-up, so she'd prepared herself, but seeing Gabby’s name pop up everywhere again has worried her and brought up memories she'd prefer were left in the past.
‘Time has been a healer for the couple, and Jacqueline stands by Dan and believes him still when he says nothing happened. But the fact is, Gabby might talk about it in the villa and that's the last thing Jac wants: to have her marriage once again questioned.’
It was 2013 when Jacqueline Jossa, 32, and Dan, 33, began dating after meeting at an awards ceremony, with the couple heading down the aisle four years later. However, the pair have been forced to navigate rocky waters over the course of their relationship.
Dan was repeatedly accused of being unfaithful to Jac, including cheating on his then-pregnant wife with Love Island star Gabby after the pair were pictured looking cosy on a yacht in Marbella back in May 2018. Gabby – who then appeared on Celebrity Big Brother alongside Dan in August 2018 – was forced to deny this, and later told Closer that she and Jacqueline had had a heart-to-heart at the time.
‘I spoke to Jacqueline after the rumours came out,’ she said. ‘I was literally like, “It is ridiculous.” It was settled between us, I think.’ But other reports of Dan’s rumoured infidelity soon followed. He was accused of snogging another Islander, Alexandra Cane, and also having a threesome with his Celebrity Big Brother co-stars Natalie Nunn and Chloe Ayling. He denied all of these allegations.
After Jac was named I’m A Celeb champion in 2019, Dan released a statement apologising for his ‘mistakes’ and admitting they ‘almost cost me my family’. Still, the pair put on a united front and have gone from strength to strength ever since. Jac turned to therapy, which she described as ‘a really good thing’ both for herself and her marriage, and the pair have continued raising their daughters Ella, nine, and Mia, five, alongside Dan's son Teddy, ten, from a previous relationship.
Despite overcoming their challenges, our insider says that Jac is understandably concerned about old wounds being reopened on national TV, which could cause rows between the pair at home.
The source adds, ‘Jac is annoyed at the probability that Gabby only got the casting off the back of the producers knowing it will get media attention. But Jac says that chapter of their relationship is firmly closed. She's fully aware of what went on back then; they’ve worked though it, and are rebuilding trust. Jac’s got more important things to be focused on; she says won't be giving Gabby air time.’
