You pretty much can't get on Love Island these days unless you've done one of the following:
a) Have been or are still friends with a former Islander
b) Once dated an Islander – the hotter/more controversial the better
c) Have dated Adam Collard
d) All of the above
As it turns out, Love Island 2023 OG Catherine Agbaje – who is easily one of our faves of the series so far – is friends with a winter Love Island 2023 OG, and she's not just any Islander – she's a series 'villain'.
According to series nine finalist Tanya Manhenga (who guessed Olivia Hawkins?), she knows Catherine very well IRL.
Speaking of her famous friend while being interviewed on Murad Merali's podcast this week, Tanya revealed, “My friends, all of them are Nigerian Irish – so that’s how I know her, through them.”
Speaking about what viewers should expect to see from Catherine over the coming weeks, Tanya revealed a quality we are yet to see from the Dublin beauty, but absolutely NEED to see because we're addicted to #dramz...
Tanya added, “She’s going to be very interesting because she’s fiery. I don’t know if it’s been seen yet, because I’ve not watched a lot.”
Fiery? She's been the coolest cucumber of the bunch so far. Okay, things just got interesting...
Tanya continued, “She’s so cute and she’s an OG. She needs to stay.”
Agreed. Especially if she's yet to open Pandora's Box in the villa.
Catherine entered the Love Island 2023 villa on day one, and was immediately coupled up with André Furtado after the public put them together. She soon turned her attention to the first bombshell, Zachariah Noble and ended up recoupling with the basketball hunk.
Zach then realised he had feelings for Molly Marsh and began exploring that connection, resulting in him kissing Molly in the challenge right in front of Catherine, who was annoyed, but not exactly 'fiery'. Hmm.
Catherine has now recoupled with Andre and the pair have decided to press the reset button on their love story.
We'll definitely be watching this one closely.
