Some days we think going on Love Island would be an absolute dream, others days we think it would be the holiday from hell.

Today is one of those days when we're content with our full time jobs and writing about the romance reality show rather than living it.

Recently dumped couple, Catherine Agbaje andElom Ahlijah-Wilson took some time out of their busy post-Love Island 2023 lives to chat to us about the perks and not so perks of life in the villa.

The duo previously let slip who was the best cook, to the surprise of absolutely nobody it is not Sammy Root, but they also opened up about the grossest part of Love Island life.

"The kitchen," Catherine shuddered when asked what was the most disgusting thing, "Especially after Casa, imagine 18 people living for a whole week or so."

No thank you, we don't even want to think about the absolute horror show of mess eighteen twenty-something create, it's giving university nightmares and we are not here for it.

"The plates, the ants," Catherine continued. "I remember this one day I got so pissed off, I just washed my plates and when everyone came I just said, 'You need to wash your plates.'

"I was just very moody."

We don't blame her, we'd be moody as well sharing space with so many people, let alone them creating mess and not clearing up afterwards.

Catherine was NOT happy with the messy in the villa

It's all very reminiscent of the Ron Hall vs Shaq Muhammad saga from this year's winter series.

Remember how all hell broke loose when Ron left Shaq and the other guys to clear the kitchen?

Good times.

Catherine isn't the first Islander to disclose some of the less enticing elements of Love Island, Claudia Fogarty revealed chlorine water isn't the only liquid in the pool. We will leave you to use your imagination with that one...

Reigning villa queen, Sanam Harrinanan, also chatted about the messy toilets and the unsanitary habits from the Love Island lads.
