Three top tips for going alcohol free
- Try new activities that don't revolve around drinking. Meeting up with a friends in a social setting that doesn't involve going to a pub or bar relieves some of the pressure to have a drink and means that you're able to keep a clear head.
- Get some inspiration from those who have already done it. Mille Gooch is a great advocate for a sober lifestyle and has even written her own book The Sober Girl Society Handbook. She also has a great TikTik account packed full of tips.
- Make a record of your achievements. The Try Dry app allows you to record how many dry days you've done in a row, which will give you a sense of pride and achievement.
