Sam Faiers has revealed that she will be taking part in TOWIE’s 10th anniversary celebrations after all despite previously insisting she wouldn’t be involved.
The 29-year-old first rose to fame on the ITVBe show ten years ago alongside her sister Billie and the likes of Mark Wright, Lauren Goodger and Kirk Norcross, before leaving in 2014 to star in Celebrity Big Brother. She’s since bagged her own show The Mummy Diaries, which documents her family life with boyfriend Paul Knightley and their children Paul, four, and two-year-old Rosie.
When it was announced that a number of Essex OGs like Amy Childs and Joey Essex were returning to TOWIE for the huge milestone, we were hoping that they would be joined by Sam but she admitted she’s “at a completely different stage of life” now.
However, in an exclusive chat with Closer ahead of the new series of The Mummy Diaries, Sam told us that she and Billie are set to take a look back at some of TOWIE’s most iconic moments for a special one-off show.
She explained, “We're not going back on to the show to film as such but we're doing the 10 year anniversary best bits so we'll be looking back at old clips and all the TOWIE best moments.”
Sounds like must-see TV, if you ask us.

TOWIE cast returning for the 10th anniversary
Amy Childs
She was very much the IT girl when TOWIE first started in 2010 and now she's confirmed her comeback on Instagram."'TOWIE 10 is coming, it's time to get back to Essex' .... IM BACK ud83dude1d @towie," she wrote.
Nicole Bass
She dated Lewis Bloor when she first joined the show but things took a turn and they had a bitter split. Nicole has since dated Aaron Chalmers (after meeting on Ex on the Beach) and Sam Mucklow. Unfortunately Sam quit the show alongside his now pregnant girlfriend Shelby Tribble (who was Nicole's friend). Anyways, we're excited to see what Nicole gets up to on the next series...
Joey Essex
Let's be honest, it wouldn't be right to have a TOWIE reunion with Joey Essex. He's one of the show's most iconic cast members of all time so we're excited AF to see that he's been filming with BFF James 'Diags' Bennewith.
Danielle Armstrong
A lot has changed for Danielle since she left TOWIE. She's now engaged to her childhood sweetheart Tommy Edney and recently gave birth to their daughter Orla Mae. She's been spotted filming for the new series with Chloe Sims so we can't wait to see what they get up to.
Fran Parman
Fran Parman has been spotted on set for TOWIE and we cannot wait to see her back with the Essex gang. The last time we saw her was with Diags on Eating With My Ex and they parted ways after discovering they were on different pages.
Carol Wright
Mark Wright's mum Carol is making a comeback to TOWIE (we're still hoping her son does).
Jess Wright
Jess was unlucky in love on TOWIE (remember when she dated Ricky Rayment?) but things have changed and she's newly engaged.
So, what is Sam and Billie’s favourite TOWIE moment then?
“Any time we came out of our Essex bubble and went to Marbella or Vegas, that's when all the drama happened like when Gemma Collins told Arg 'You ain't getting none of this candy',” Sam told us.
“That's one of our favourite moments. That's an iconic moment in TOWIE history that everyone remembers,” added Billie.

Sam also opened up about her relationship with boyfriend of five years, Paul, amid speculation that he’s planning a proposal.
The mum-of-two admitted that she hopes her property mogul beau will propose “soon-ish” as their relationship has gone from strength to strength in lockdown.
“Lockdown has been great for us; we've managed to move into our new house and settle in without rushing. Paul threw himself into a fitness and I was enjoying being at home with the kids before Little Paul starts school. I just turned it into a positive and made the most of it,” she told us.
“We talk about marriage all the time really. We've been together five years, have two kids and have had a few moves. So much has happened and now we're finally settled and know that this is where we're going to live forever and Little Paul starts school, I think it's a good time.”
Sam and Billie: The Mummy Diaries series eight starts Thursday 3rd September at 9pm on ITVBe
