The Beckham family are facing a fresh PR nightmare as Brooklyn's volatile relationship gets out of hand
Her eldest son Brooklyn’s romance with model girlfriend Hana Cross has been blighted by a series of public rows – with the pair previously spotted in tears together on the street following an argument, and reportedly having a huge falling out after attending a gig in London.
And insiders say Brooklyn’s mum Posh – who was already anxious about the relationship – was left distraught yet again over reports that the pair had to be separated by security after Hana “lashed out” at Brooklyn during a fiery bust-up at their five-star Cannes hotel, following a boozy lunch. Now Posh has told husband David Beckham that she fears there’ll be even more drama.
A source reveals, “It’s so tough for Vic to hear the reports about the couple being pulled apart screaming and crying by security after their row. It’s not the sort of relationship she wants for her son, and she’s told David she worries it’s turning toxic.
"She knows the pair are young and likely to have the occasional argument, but right now their rows seem quite dramatic and so hard to predict. She’s said she’s now fearing the next bitter fallout, and hates seeing her boy so upset.
"David has told her to try not to get too involved but, as a mother, it’s her instinct to protect Brooklyn and make sure he’s happy.”

Sources claimed that Hana, 22, struggles with 20-year-old Brooklyn’s fame and the pressure of dating a Beckham.
And insiders say that, in a bid to smooth over recent tensions, Posh, 45, suggested a low-key meet-up with Hana.
The source adds, “Despite the relationship issues, Vic does like Hana. Plus, she knows if she comes across as an overprotective mother, it will just push Hana away, and could annoy Brooklyn.
"She wants to let them know she’s there for both of them. Pals have warned Vic from getting too caught up in things, but she’s insisted that, if she can stay close to Hana and be a shoulder to cry on for her, it’s a good way to also keep tabs on the relationship.”
But insiders say Posh’s involvement in Brooklyn’s six-month romance has also caused tension with David, 44, who has told the fashion designer to give their son some space.
The source adds, “David thinks Vic should leave Brooklyn to deal with his own relationship, and not meddle in his personal life. He feels Vic runs the risk of pushing Brooklyn and Hana away, and that the best approach is to just let them get on with things.
"But Vic is frustrated as she feels she can’t just stand back and do nothing. It’s driven a bit of a wedge between them.”
And insiders say that, after having to battle constant speculation over the state of her own relationship with David – with the pair being forced to publicly deny rumours of a divorce last year, and David raising eyebrows in October when he described their marriage as “always hard work” – Posh has insisted the last thing the family needs is for another romance to come under constant scrutiny.

Abbey Clancy gives birth and Peter Crouch 'reveals' baby's incredible name
Following the recent revelations from Cannes, where the couple were spotted rowing at the outdoor restaurant of their £3,000-a-night hotel, one fan wrote online, “If it’s like this in public imagine what it’s like when no one else is around.
"Time to call it quits, plenty more fish in the sea. Drama isn’t a measure of how much you love each other. It’s toxic.”
The source adds, “Vic hates that Brooklyn’s romance is now under such scrutiny, and she worries it paints the family in a bad light.
"She’s always told Brooklyn to try to keep his personal life private. She knows that feelings and emotions are sometimes overwhelming when you’re in love, but she’s told him that he and Hana need to stop clashing so publicly.
"The last thing the family needs is for another relationship to constantly be judged."
