She’s no stranger to going under the knife herself, having had around 15 surgical procedures – but Danielle Lloyd reveals she was still left shocked by the traumatic pictures of her pal Jordan following her latest extreme surgery.

The former glamour model, 37, says she reached out to her long-time friend last week by text after her recent operations to offer her support.

She says, “I was shocked – she looked like she had had a lot of work done, it looked painful. I’ve been there and, after surgery, it was excruciating. I felt for her – but I was reassured she was OK. She seems really happy and she’s excited about the results once she’s fully healed.”

Since rising to fame as Miss Great Britain in 2006, Danielle has had a range of operations over the years – including lipo, a nose job, a Brazilian butt lift and “around ten” boob jobs.

In 2012, she vowed to never have cosmetic surgery again after she was left fighting for her life when her breast implant exploded on the operating table, resulting in her losing six pints of blood.

But she went back on her word in 2019 and got a butt lift, a corrective boob job and a spontaneous nose job in Turkey – the same clinic Jordan visited just last month.

Speaking about her and Jordan’s surgery choices, she says, “We have both been in positions where we’ve said we won’t have more done, but then we do.

“I don’t know why that is – we’re both mad! Maybe it’s also because we’ve done modelling and our looks are important to us. I know it’s easy to become addicted.

“It can be really scary for the kids. I remember after my lipo in 2019, I had to hide my body from my kids for weeks, because I was black and blue. They were saying, ‘Mummy, are you going to die?’. Katie will have the same with hers I imagine. It can be traumatic for the kids.

“I keep myself in check with therapy and I feel happy. Katie says she’s not addicted, but if she starts to feel like she is, I’d recommend therapy.”

But mum-of-four Danielle – who also had a “fox-eye” thread lift treatment just last year – says that since finding out she is expecting a much longed for girl she has changed her views on having further cosmetic work done.

She says, “Now that I’m having a girl, I think differently about surgery. I know in this day and age, with social media and the pressure to look perfect, it can be a tough world for girls. I want my daughter to be happy and confident and healthy. I’d be a hypocrite if I said no to her ever wanting to change her appearance with cosmetic procedures. But I want to instil in her that she is beautiful and perfect the way she is – if there’s something she wants to change after years of researching and thinking about it, I’d support her.

“But I’ll definitely talk to her about my regrets at getting surgery so young, the scars, and how trends change. I wanted big boobs to start with because everyone was getting them. I’ll talk through all the pros and cons and be an open book about it all.”

Pregnant Danielle’s dreams came true earlier this month when she was told that – after four boys – her fifth baby would be a girl. Already mum to Archie, 10, Harry, nine, and George, seven, with her footballer ex-husband Jamie O’Hara, and Ronnie, three, with second husband Michael O’Neill – she believes she finally achieved her dream by following the advice of a book that encouraged timing sex with the ovulation cycle to increase her chances of having a daughter.

The star also visited a psychic who advised her she’d be having a girl this year, and said she believed that “manifesting” (making a life goal a reality through willpower and positivity) the idea helped. Danielle now hopes she can replicate the relationship she has with her own mum with her little girl, and have a best friend for life.

She says, “There’s just something about that mother-daughter bond. I talk to my mum about 10 times a day – she’s my total my rock. With boys it’s different – there’s just not that closeness… it’s a different kind of bond.

“It’ll be just my luck she’ll be a tomboy. I bet she’ll love football and will be out playing with the boys in the mud. Michael and I have been laughing about the nappy changes – I’ll be totally out of my comfort zone! I’m a pro with boys, but I’ve never changed a girl’s nappy.”

Victoria Beckham

One half of the indestructible Beckham brand, Victoria was the original Queen WAG in 2006. At the time Victoria had been married to David for seven years and had just given birth to her third boy, Cruz. She had also just launched her denim line, dvb Style and walked the catwalk for Roberto Cavalli. Over a decade later, she is a fully fledged and well respected fashion designer, with a fourth addition to her brood – the adorable Harper.

Coleen rose to fame as a WAG at just 20 years old. Coleen and Wayne are married and they celebrated their ten-year anniversary in 2018. However, Wayne's repeated cheating has strained the relationship over the years. They have four children together, Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass. Since 2006 Coleen has released a fitness DVD, been a style advisor for Littlewoods and even had a column with us in Closer magazine.

Cheryl

How could we forget Cheryl as a WAG? Back then, 23-year-old Cheryl was a popstar in Girls Aloud who had just married Ashley Cole. Nowadays, Cheryl is a household name and a worldwide celebrity in her own right. After splitting from Ashley in 2010, she had a successful (well, successful-ish) solo career, was a judge on The X Factor and was the face of beauty brand L'Oreal. She married Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini in 2016 but they divorced three months later. Most recently, Cheryl separated from One Direction singer, Liam Payne, who she has a baby son called Bearwith.

Abbey first grabbed our attention in 2006 as one of the finalists in Britain's Next Top Model. She began dating Peter Crouch that same year and the pair are now married with three kids Sophia Ruby, Liberty Rose and baby Johnny. Lingerie model Abbey went on to win Strictly Come Dancing in 2013 and she returned to Britain's Next Top Model as the show's presenter. Not bad work, eh?

She has three sons, Archie, Harry and George with her now ex-husband Jamie O'Hara. Danielle gave birth to a fourth child with her husband Michael O'Neill, Ronnie, in 2017.

Despite being married to one of the most famous footballers at the time, Louise Owen wasn't your stereotype WAG. She has always managed to keep her distance from the limelight. Her passion is rescuing race horses and she currently lives in Wales with her husband Michael and their four children, Gemma, James, Jessica and Emily.

And she adds that – having been trolled before about her views on desperately wanting a daughter after having four boys – pregnant women shouldn’t feel ashamed about voicing their feelings around the sex of their baby.

Danielle says, “I really think gender disappointment needs to be spoken out about much more. My midwife told me that it can cause of depression in pregnancy and postnatal depression. No one wants to talk about it – you’re made to feel ungrateful and selfish if you do. But it’s a thing – I’ve had so many messages from mums or pregnant women thanking me for voicing it, because they feel like horrible people if they were to express their disappointment over having a boy or girl.”

Now, looking excitedly towards to the birth, Danielle admits it’s a good thing that this pregnancy has taken her focus away from having more surgery for the time being. She explains, “The fact that I’m finally having a daughter has made me feel so happy and so complete. I can’t see surgery being a priority anytime soon.

“Plus, I’ve barely put on any weight this time around, so I definitely won’t need lipo! But who knows, I may still want to get a face lift at 60!”
