There’s something magical about the moment ex-lovers meet again and when it’s former TOWIE cast members the stars truly do align.
It was the screening of the highly anticipated House of Sims TV show in Los Angeles recently and Chloe Sims headed up the event – obviously, what with it being her TV show and all.
Chloe’s bro Charlie Sims and his girlfriend Georgia Shults were also in attendance as they drank Champagne and ate a cake with Sims family faces on by way of celebrating the screening. Like you do.
Another ex-Essex star in attendance was the UK’s answer to Jay Gatsby, Liam ‘Gatsby’ Blackwell.
Gatsby left TOWIE (for the hundredth time) last year and we thought he would be making a return to Essex in the most recent series. Don’t pretend you didn’t think so too, Gatsby has left and returned to the reality show more times than we’ve watched the episode where Joey Essex takes Sam Faiers on a date to ‘the dump’. Hundreds.
But it looks as though Gatsby is enjoying his time stateside and won’t be back in Brentwood any time soon.
Sharing a photo on her Instagram Story of two glasses, Chloe tagged the rapper with the caption, "Cheers @gatsby_liam @watchoftv".
It was never a secret that Gatsby had a little crush on Chloe but it WAS a secret that the duo had a Christmas fling back in 2016.
Well, it was a secret until it was exposed on TOWIE a few months later.
Fast forward to 2023 and the duo are obviously over the romantic rendezvous and have remained close pals.
Gatsby previous teased 'The Only Way is L.A' as a concept for a new telly show but we now have to wonder if perhaps he'll making a cameo appearance on Chloe's new show.
House of Sims will be available to watch on Only Fans TV from 3 May and with Demi Sims in Thailand and Frankie Sims still on UK soil at least Chloe had the support from Gatsby in her sisters’ absence.
The trailer was recently released for the upcoming season and while Gatsby didn't feature, the show promises tears, tantrums and questionable twerking.
